Had an emergency very late Saturday night and when I called the young woman who answered the phone said they could send someone now! I managed to halt the leak enough to say tomorrow would be fine. She said between 8a.m. and 10a.m., sure enough at 8 James called - here be in a few minutes and here he was. First let me say that the young woman who answered the phone did not sound like a "call" center taking messages and whether she was or wasn't she was reassuring during the whole conversation. James came and fixed everything and when I asked him about putting the water filter back in under the sink, the suggestion he gave us was perfect and he did it same day so not only did he take care of the kitchen sink leak and moving the under counter pipes to fit the new sink, he installed the water filtration system for the house. He also checked to see if we had any leaks outside because the water bill is creeping up $2-3 per month. He had to go back to the warehouse and get the filtration system parts and everything we needed to be done was accomplished in 4.5 hours. James is extremely knowledgeable and personable. I would not hesitate to call this company again. Also the cost for labor and piping for under sink and filtration to run through entire house was very fair.

I called John the Plumber. My kitchen sink was not draining. They sent out the most awesome plumbers. Gary and Keyon came out to my home. It was a Saturday and I was so amazed on there work. Once again John The Plumber comes through! Gary Brown did an amazing job (in Sept 2025) getting my gutted kitchen ready for new cabinets and appliances. He had to totally upgrade an old, 6-7 foot floppy copper water line and secure the new one in the plaster wall and he did a perfect job of it! Also very professionally capped off water pipes to sink Until the new sink is ready to install. He did a great job keeping the dust to a minimum, and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend him for any plumbing job you have!I WROTE THE REVIEW BELOW 4 YEARS AGO:This was my second emergency call to John the Plumber this year, as my 1964 house continues to age. Diana answered on Saturday morning and the extensive work was scheduled for first thing Monday morning. I got a confirming call early Monday, and within an hour Don K. was on site and ready to work. Don is experienced, professional, unflappable, and extremely knowledgeable--and also very nice. He had to gouge out a 2 sq-ft hole in concrete block, find a leak, and diagnose why it was leaking. The repair involved replacing some cast iron pipe and joints with PVC, adding a clean-out port, and snaking the pipe downstream to remove blockage. He got all of this done in 3 hours, including testing and retesting the repair. The invoice for this scope of work was fair and itemized. On request, Diana recommended a stucco guy who can finish up. I have complete confidence in the team at John The Plumber and highly recommend them!

John the Plumber technician Bladimir was terrific! He went above and beyond, as usual! He has been to the house several times and each time he has done his job and then some. Today he not only replaced the cartridge in my shower handle, he also cleaned the aerator screen on the showerhead! This is an example of going above and beyond as Bladimir does! We have used John the Plumber exclusively for the last 3 years. Never been disappointed with service. Since we just purchased the home the tech took the time to walk the property and evaluate the water heater, shut off valves and provided insight on maintenance that would prolong the life of tankless water heater. Pablo was very respectful and helpful. I initially called thinking I might have a leak. He took time to explain my water bill to me and to inform me of all the increases the city of Fort Lauderdale is instilling. Additionally he referred me to call them regarding a reclaim meter which in time will help lower my bill, although the initial fee is quite large. I did not have to pay for his visit!

Shane Evans and Gary Brown went above and beyond to assist with an emergency plumbing issue and another call for service. (Camera evaluation of sewer lines, remove and replace PVC cleanout in front of home. Exposing pipe and making a repair up to 4', Pull and reset toilet in hall bathroom). They communicated with me when they were on the way, an estimate of the cost of repairs and provided pictures of the work performed. Renee was also super helpful with the emergency call informing me of the plumber's schedule on a very busy Saturday. Highly recommend John the Plumber!

Excellent and quick service on an emergency call. Water heater was leaking and had to shut off entire house water. James was called and replaced water heater along with a new emergency shut off valve and emergency power switch. The price was higher than i thought however the work was completed quickly and I am now without worries. As they say quality cost especially these days and John the plumber means quality from my fist call until job was completed maybe 2 1/2 hours YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. They were excellent and now I have a reliable plumber. Thanks

Gary and Greg get 10 stars. Track down a leak under the slab. From main water feed to laundry room plumbing next to, not backing up to. A half bath and outside spicket. A leak detector company $475 mislocated the leak. With all of the equipment, no go. They recommended chop here and there, replace water line going through the ceiling bla, bla, bla. All wrong and not where the leak was. J t P guys found it with nominal chopping and fixed it all in less than 1.5 hours. These guys were excellent.Thank youSo glad we called John the Plumber

Excellent service with John the Plumber in replacing our water heater this week. Pablo Fernandez and the other technician who came out to assess, quote, and perform the replacement were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain the options and made the appropriate recommendations as we considered replacing our traditional tank with a tankless and hybrid system. The ability to replace the heater immediately made it extremely convenient, especially considering our old heater was failing and had began leaking. While their quote wasn’t the very lowest, it was a very reasonable amount considering they offer a longer warranty on labor. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is needing to replace their water heater.

My mom called me saying she woke up to her 2nd bathroom floor covered in water. I then looked on line through Google reading reviews and found John the plumber. I called the number and spoke with Ms Tracy/Trinity who was very nice from the first call. She said at first they only had afternoon but called back and said she had someone that could come in the AM.The technicians Lin and Greg came and did above and beyond to get my mom up and running again. I definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs.They are reasonably. priced and takes care of the elderly.
