A challenging job - mainly getting access to the old plumbing to remove and install a new shower valve and have room to solder in the replacement valve. Excellent functional result however I am not thrilled with the oversized escutcheon required but there appeared to be no other choice. Our Plumber - Joe - was patient as we worked through the solution - very knowledgeable and friendly.

When we arrived, we diagnosed the issue as a leaking line. The homeowner is leaving tomorrow to travel out of state and will schedule the work once gets back into town. The price is attached to the estimate to locate the leak, break the concrete, and repair the leaking line.

When we arrived, we spoke with the homeowner who wanted to have two new water lines ran. One is for reclaim and one is for water supply. Our proposal is to run two new lines two feet deep away from the proposed buildout. We will install new main valve and relocate the sprinkler system. We are not responsible for any damages caused to the sprinkler or any lines that may be damaged during excavation.
Arrived today to do a leak detection. Upon arrival customer was not present and I had to wait about 15 mins for her to arrive. While I was waiting I took a a look at the water meter and it was showing a flow rate of 0.00 gallons per minute. The customer showed me the water usage report from the city and it states that there is roughly 70 gallons being used per hour for several days during certain hours of the day. I informed the customer that since the water meter wasn’t showing any signs of water loss that it had to be the tenants.
The client had a clogged drain in the guest bathroom. We came the next day and performed a video inspection and located the blockage. The drain was cleared easily and the client was satisfied.
The client called us about their water heater. We performed a thorough inspection and discovered a lot of sediment build-up inside the unit. We resolved the issue and suggested scheduling regular maintenance to avoid costly repairs in the future.
The client contacted us about nasty odors coming from the pipes in the downstairs bathroom. By utilizing video inspection, we found the clog quickly and were able to remove it without digging up the yard. The pipes were flushed and the smell was gone. The customer was happy with our quick and profession service.
The client called us about rusty water coming out of the shower. When we came out, we discovered that the water heater was well over 15 years old, and we recommended replacement. We discussed the best options and offers to best suit their needs. The customer was thrilled with the difference the new water heater made.
The client contacted me late one afternoon and was really agitated about water all over the bathroom floor. I assured her that we could come right away and take care of her. Upon arrival, we found the clog, removed it, and cleared up the mess. The customer was so relieved that we resolved the problem quickly even after hours.
Our client contacted us to discuss the advantages of preventative plumbing. We explained how detecting small leaks and keeping drains clears is the best way to avoid costly repairs down the road. They scheduled an appointment, and we were able to come right away to perform a complete inspection.
Came out today to install a 2 handle widespread bathroom faucet in downstairs bathroom. Installed new moen faucet and installed supplied pop up assembly and tested thoroughly for proper function and no leaks. Also in master bathroom upstairs the shower was clogging up and draining slow pulled back some hair and ran water for over 5 minutes ensuring there is no more clog. No more issues or recommendations at this time.
Upon arrival customer showed me to the kitchen where he informed me that his wife had accidentally dropped and broken a glass bowl and some of the glass went into the disposal. I gave the customer multiple options so that he could choose what works best for him. Customer went with the minimum service charge for me to remove the broken glass from inside the disposal. I also tightened up the connections to the p trap under the sink because he had loosened them while trying to unjam the disposal. Customer also signed up for the JTP membership.
Supplied and installed a new kitchen faucet. All materials are included. I removed the old faucet and cleaned the sink to ensure a fresh installation. Installed the new faucet with new supply lines and tested for proper function. Checked all fittings for any leaks.
Installed customer supplied pedestal for dock. I repiped the plumbing under it to tie into both hose and attached it to the brick that was in place already.
When we arrived, we diagnose the issue as a clogged drain affecting the entire facility. We snaked the drain multiple times from the 6” cleanout in the back of the property but kept getting the snake stuck on what appears to be construction debris, a collapsed pipe, or concrete. We also ran the camera and located the area where issues were observed. Our recommendation is to dig up the area where the issues were observed. We will credit half of the price towards repair of the pipe, John the plumber is not responsible and cannot predict unforeseen issues with improper plumbing of the sanitary system or broken/collapsed pipes which would not allow a sewer snake rated for 6” to unclog the drain, we billed hourly for this inconvenience caused to both parties.
Came out today to install customer supplied kitchen faucet. Removed old broken faucet and installed new moen touch sensor faucet. Tested extensively for proper function, proper water flow and no leaks. Also in hall bathroom the pop up assembly had rusted out and was no longer functional. We replaced it with a new wolverine brass pop up assembly and tested that sink extensively drop testing multiple times ensuring no leaks and proper drainage.
Multiple issues in the unit. Provided quote for master shower valve replacement. Also re installed disposal due to it leaking from the basket strainer. Rescheduling for the 3rd of January.
I came out today for the master bathroom toilet that was occasionally running. I was unable to recreate and hear the toilet run. I ended up replacing the old lavatory faucet in the hallway bathroom with a new wolverine brass simplicity chrome faucet.
This is the price for replacing customer supplied moen shower valve and opening the drywall from the backside in order to create access for replacement. (We will try are best to salvage the drywall and tape it back in place but if drywall crumbles or cracks. We are not responsible for the repair) we will also be replacing main valve that is buried underground on the side of the home as it is an original gate valve. We will be replacing to a ball valve so there is forever a good shutoff source for the home.
Upon arrival we found the point of use water heater in the bathroom is leaking slowly. This is not something we’ll be able to fix today so we will need to return at the beginning of the week to take care of this issue. Will need to provide an estimate to complete the work on Monday morning. No charge today as no work was completed.
Came out today and evaluated a few things around the home starting in the kitchen the faucet handle snapped off because the cartridge is to stuck to go back and forth the faucet also has a few broken pieces and we recommend for the customer to purchase a new faucet and we can come back to install it. And in hall bathroom the pop up assembly rusted out and no longer is functional. I have also included in the quote the price to swap out pop up assembly so it will not just be an open drain. No other issues found around the home at this time.
Upon arrival replacement of gas valve under warranty from rheem. We drained the water heater and installed the new valve. After replacing the valve we filled the heater and checked for leaks. We lit the heater and ensured it was heating properly. No charge as this work is warrantied.
Came out today to replace a leaking joint on the filtration system inside garage. We replaced 4 pvc female adaptors and 2 male adaptors from the pre filter and replaced them with schedule 80 nipples and transitioned to copper and replumbed in the filters. Tested the home for proper water pressure and no more leaks.
I came out today to pull and reset the toilet in the master bathroom. When I pulled the toilet there was an old wax ring with a black horn, the grout appeared to be a little wet. After pulling the toilet there was a little bit of water on the tile underneath the toilet. I installed a new jumbo wax ring, and reset the toilet. I flushed the toilet several times, and there are no leaks at the time. The toilet is flushing good.
