Upon arrival the customer informed us that there has been a leak going downstairs from upstairs for months. I quoted the customer on the leak detection and he agreed. I found the leak coming from a copper waste arm that is a designated drain line for unit 37’s kitchen sink. I quoted the customer on replacing the waste arm with pvc. Customer will call us once he’s made a decision.

I arrived today do do a $99 clog and camera special from my customers ground cleanout. After opening the cap I determined that the pipe wasn’t clogged so I recorded a camera evaluation. I determined that the cast iron line has a small channel on the bottom and an excess of scale build up. I recommended a descale and hydro jetting to gain a better and more reliable flow in the drain system.

Upon arrival the customer showed me to the water heater where she said she has no hot water. I attempted to re light the water heater but I was unsuccessful. I provided the customer with multiple quotes for a new water heater. Customer will contact us once she’s made a decision.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the maintenance man at the cleanout. I found no signs of a stoppage at the cleanout. I proceeded to go into unit 114 and flush the toilet with toilet paper, run the sink and run the tub, I ran the fixtures for 10 minutes with no bubbling or backup. I then ran the fixtures and went outside to check the cleanout. I saw water flowing well through the cleanout. I notified the office that I could not recreate the issue, if a stoppage occurs they will call us out and we can diagnose the problem at that time.

Arrived today to replace a leaking copper waste arm with pvc pipe and fittings. I started by cutting and chipping out a square hole to expose the waste arm. Then I removed the old copper waste arm and replaced it with sched 40 pvc and pvc fittings. I used spray foam to secure the waste arm in place to ensure that it would keep its proper pitch. I then replaced two emergency stops under the kitchen sink with dual stops and I replaced the hose bib that was on the exterior kitchen wall. I turned the water back on to test for leaks. No leaks. Then I performed a running water test and a full sink drop test to test the waste arm for leaks. No leaks.

Upon arrival the customer showed me to the kitchen where immediately I could smell sewage. He informed me that he already called his appliance technician and he confirmed that the dishwasher is not leaking. The customer showed me outside to the exterior wall of the kitchen and I could see water damage. I quoted the customer on replacing the kitchen sink waste arm and he agreed. I will return tomorrow morning to replace the waste arm.

Upon inspection…shower drain is clogged..ran drill snake pulled out hair …tested..everything drains fine..sent estimate for new water heater and main valve..

Snaked stack over guest bathroom to clear stoppage

I came out today to unit 115 for a stoppage in the bathroom lavatory sink. I took the p-trap apart and it was full of soap scum and sludge. I cleaned everything out and washed the p-trap. I put everything back together and the sink is draining good.

I came out today to unit 214 for a kitchen stoppage. I ran approximately 15 feet with the drill snake. When I pulled the cable out it had a lot of grease on it. I advised the property manager to let everyone know not to put grease down the kitchen sink. I then ran the water and filled the sink. Everything is draining good now.
