So far my experience with John the Plumber has been Great. The 2 times one of the plumbers did some work they all did a great job, kept me informed, they each were here to make me feel that they cared about the client and do the work that was necessary to complete the job. I highly recommend John The Plumber. They let you know the schedule and follow up with a call after the work was completed to make sure that I was happy with the completed work. I hired them to replace my hot water heater and asked if they could have Adam do the installation. I highly recommend this company. It’s a pleasure working with them. There are very few companies that make it easy to deal with. Most people and companies make it difficult and time consuming, but not with John The Plumber. I came out today to replace the old wax ring that was causing the toilet to leak into the 4th floor master bathroom. I pulled the toilet and replaced the old worn out wax ring. I used 2 wax rings for extra wax to make sure that the toilet had a good seal to the flange.

Upon arrival I found the water heater was set to 120 degrees and the owner would like it turned up a few degrees so I adjusted the temperature to about 125. Only charging for the JTP membership today.

Upon arrival, customer showed us of the kitchen sink where it was backed up. I gave the customer multiple options on what she could do to clear the clogged sink. Customer went with gold option because she wanted the bottle of bio one. Ran my drill snake roughly 15 ft to clear stoppage. Also vacuumed out a lot of food particles and grease. Sink is draining beautifully now.

Came out today to evaluate a clogged toilet. We installed the toilet last week but now it’s not flushing. Gave customer a 1 time complimentary toilet auger to clear the clog and get the toilet flushing again.

This is an estimate to replace the old section of 3/8 copper that connects to the dishwasher. It was leaking at the connection to the ball valve underneath the sink. I replaced the copper dishwasher line with 3/8 pex. I ran the dishwasher and there are no leaks at this time. I let the homeowner know that the copper water lines underneath the sink are old and if anything else leaks it would be time to redo all the piping and valves underneath the sink.

This is an estimate to fix a couple small leaks underneath the kitchen sink. I replaced the leaking p- trap underneath the kitchen sink. I also replaced the stainless steel tailpipe with tubular that was leaking at the basket strainer, reconnected the hot side for the faucet, and also replaced the leaking 3/8 copper line with pex pipe.everything is draining properly and there are no leaks.

The customer called today to have a premier toilet installed in his master bathroom. After removing the existing toilet I installed the new one including a new jumbo wax ring, new Jonny bolts and a new 16” supply line. After installation was complete all joints and the base were tested for leaks and was functioning properly.

The customer called today to have his dish washer supply line connected. After assessing the dish washer line that he had I determined that he had a laundry machine line. I ran him a new line from the emergency shutoff valve to the dishwasher. After installation was complete I tested both joints for leaks and they were leak free.

Came out today to look at Original one piece American standard toilet that are having a few issues. The hall bathroom toilet is constantly running and in the master bathroom the toilet handle must be held for about 20 seconds for a flush to be made and than fills extremely slow. I sent over an estimate for replacement. I recommend replacing the toilet as trying to find the parts is hard and repairing the toilet will be a lot bigger of a hassle.

Charging dispatch fee to light the pilot on a jtp installed gas water heater. Heater lit immediately and I made sure it was heating properly. Workers had shut the gas off so it let the pilot light go out so this was a simple fix.

Ran the drill snake through the kitchen p trap to relieve the grease blockage. I ran approximately 20 feet of snake through the kitchen drain line and pulled back a few large clumps of grease. I reconnected the drain lines and ran a lot of hot water with soap to make sure the line is clear.

Supplied and installed 30 gallon low water heater in the ac closet in a new drip pan. Replaced both old gate valves with new ball valves. Used new flex connectors for the water heater and reconnected the relief to the existing drain line in the wall. Hard wired the new heater with an emergency electric shutoff switch as well. I also replaced the old style shower cartridge in the guest bathroom and I removed a clump of hair from the master bathroom shower at no additional charge.

The customer called today with a leak under her kitchen sink. After assessing the sink I determined that the existing faucet was leaking internally. The leak was coming from inside the faucet itself only while the faucet was turned on. I presented different faucet options and she decided to go with the WB Simplicity. After installation all joints were tested for leaks and the faucet was functioning properly.

Arrived at condo to find that the customer wanted a estimate for jetting on a kitchen stack line that keeps backing up. Determined that the best place to perform the jetting would be the parking garage under the building. Need to install a 6” one way clean out facing upstream to do the jet job. Clean out will be installed on main trunk line in parking garage. Customer is also interested in bio one to help with the grease build up in the kitchen lines. Customer also showed me to a unit where on the main line before the shut off valve there is a corroded section of galvanized pipe. To repair this there will have to be a scheduled building shut down. Estimate will be sent later today once I get a chance to go over it with management.

Pulled and reset toilet in the master bathroom because the wax ring was wore out and the toilet leaked occasionally when it was flushed. I doubled up 2 jumbo wax rings to fix the leak. In the guest bathroom the toilet had a bad smell coming from underneath it. I pulled that toilet also and replaced the old wax ring with a new jumbo wax ring.

Replace both single emergency stops in the kitchen with new stops. On the cold side we will be installing a new dual stop for the fridge line and one single stop on the hot side because the new dishwasher hookup will be coming from the water heater. Test both stops for proper function and check for any leaks. To be able to shut the water down properly we will need to replace the existing main gate valve with a new ball valve. We will need to open the drywall to expose the valve and remove the old valve. We will then install a new quarter turn ball valve. We are not responsible for patching of the drywall.

Upon arrival I found that the cold side emergency stop doesn’t shut off completely and the cabinet installers won’t install the new cabinets until it is replaced. I will remove all existing emergency stops and valves and install a new dual emergency stop on the cold water side and I will install a new single stop for the hot side because the dishwasher hookup will be taken from the water heater in the corner of the kitchen. We will need to replace the main valve before work is performed because it is an old gate valve. We have scheduled the work to be done tomorrow morning at 9am.

Arrived to find excavated hole where we could see a broken 1.25 pvc 90 for the irrigation. Attempted to remove old gate valve but was unsuccessful, replaced from after the gate valve using a sch80 1.25 pvc male adapter. Used various 1.25 pvc fittings and pipe to reroute the irrigation line around the tree. Also replaced a leaking gate bib with a quarter turn bib on adjacent vertical line. Turned water on after waiting for glue to dry and tested for leaks, everything is leak free. Main backflow for the house has a leak and we will send the backflow tech out to diagnose.

Upon arrival the disposal was clogged and not draining. Removed the disposal and replaced with a new basket strainer and tubular to eliminate it.

Arrived to find a customer wanting to change there 3/4 main ball valve near the heater. Upon further investigation we realize that by plumbing code and the age of the heater it would be best to replace the entire heater. Other options offered were including a switch and 2 3/4 ball valve with a pan & also a permit is required. In closing our customer has the estimate and will make a decision in the coming days. Informed the customer of the building shut down

Arrived on site to see customer had already excavated the area where the leak was. 2” schedule 40 fitting for the irrigation system was leaking from the joint and the gate valve was beyond repair. Per customer’s request the gate valve was eliminated and we used schedule 80 fittings in a horseshoe configuration to avoid this issue in the future. (Customer will turn water on in the am and text me the outcome)

Arrived to the home to find our customer concerned about a leaking toilet. Upon further investigation we found that wen I took off the toilet cover the fill valve water supply line was not in the flush valve and wen you flush the water was spraying everywhere even though the top was on. Other options offered were the water heater is from 2009 wrote an estimate. In conclusion as a courtesy I fixed the supply line reinstalled it in the flush valve flush it and the leaking stop ask customer to monitor it for a couple of days and if the leaks continue to call us an ask for errick customer very happy
