Upon arrival I found that the entire unit has very low water pressure. I found that the pressure starts out good and then drops immensely. I very loosely turned the gate valve at the meter and it helped the pressure in the unit. I recommend getting ahold of the city to get the valve changed at the meter. No charge today as no work was performed.

Came out today because customer is complaining about the water being only warm by the time it gets to the shower I also noticed the thermostatic part of the cartridge is backwards and water gets hotter when it’s turned onto the cold section. I turned water heater up to 130 and explained how his shower is backwards. Customer has already been given a quote for the shower valve replacement.

Upon arrival customer informed us that he’d received a letter from the city stating that he had a leak and high water bill. Customer told us that he would like a leak detection. I provided the customer with a quote for the leak detection and he agreed. I also provided the customer with quotes for new ball valves at the main and at the water heater. Customer agreed. Switched out both old gate valves for ball valves and performed the leak detection. During the leak detection I concluded that it was his toilet that was running. I removed the cost of the leak detection and performed a major toilet rebuild instead. After that the customer stated his interest in cleaning his sewer lines out. I provided the customer with a quote for a jetting service and he agreed. Performed whole home jetting and installed new 3” two way clean out. Returned the next morning to backfill the hole that we dug to perform the jetter and replace the clean out.

Upon arrival customers showed me to the kitchen in unit 6. The sink was filled with water and grease. I gave the customer a price for clearing the stoppage from the roof and for two bottles of bio one. Customer agreed. I got up on the roof and ran roughly 10 feet of K60 cable before I got stuck. I pulled back the cable and the tip and the first two feet of the cable was polished and shiny. This means the cast iron pipe has broken and I was running my cable into the dirt. I ran my sewer camera and unfortunately couldn’t see much of anything due to the murky water and the dirt. We will provide the customer with a quote to replace the sewer line. Customer returned the two bottles of bio one, but was still charged full price for the stoppage. If customer goes with the repair we will deduct the price of the stoppage from the repair.

*Warranty call* Upon arrival, customer showed us to the garage where he informed us that his water was too hot. He also voiced his concerns about his shower valve, that he think it looks like he may have broken it. I informed the customer that while it may have cracked on the handle, that it was still functioning properly. I provided the customer with a quote for a new shower valve. I then adjusted the temperature on both the upper and lower elements down about 10 degrees.

This is an estimate to run my k-60 through the main stack on the roof to clear the stoppage. There is only 1 stack on the roof. I ran my k-60 75 feet through the main stack on the roof to clear the stoppage. I did not pull anything out on the cable, but the cable came out very dirty and black. I would recommend a hydro jetting job for this house. The house was built in the late 50’s. I will be providing an estimate for a hydro jetting job for the house.

Arrive to building 411 on the north side to find that the kitchen clog has been cleared over night by pouring a gallon of degreaser down the sink. After verifying flow from cleanout at the city I ran a sewer camera to inspect the main line. The main line has heavy amounts of scale and kitchen lines have sludge. Recommended to descale and pressure jet the north side of the building.

Came out today to evaluate a seven year old water heater that needs a pan underneath it. The city came out to inspect the AC and cited them for the water heater not being in a pan. We will be coming back when the AC guys remove the stand that’s trapping in the heater because the legs are welded together and can not be removed. I have sent over a quote to come back and bring heater up to code after the stand has been removed

Came out today to evaluate a leak underground at the mainline dug up the leak and exposed a broken dresser coupling on the 1 inch PVC line made a spot repair with two couplings and tested everything for proper function and no leaks

The customer called today with a mainline clog. After assessing the two different units I determined that the clog was at the bottom of the kitchen stack that is used by two mirroring units. I ran 75’ of K60 and cleared the clog. After clearing the clog I ran the camera to assess the drain line and determined the main line was full of scale build up and metal flakes. A jetting was recommended to the customer to provide a better flow in the main line. An estimate for a hydro jetting and a new clean out was given.
Chad N.
The customer called today with a clog and a leak under their sink that was previously installed by JTP. After assessing the sink it was determined that there was a small clog in the waste arm that might have possibly been caused by the hydro jetter pushing material up the line. I ran the drill snake and cleared the clog. After running the drill snake I ran hot water with dawn dish soap for 10 minutes and the water was draining perfectly.

Today we arrived to complete a single line hydro jetting and installation of a new clean out. After digging the existing clean out up I revealed that the PVC was attached to 2’ of orange burg pipe. I removed the pipe back to the cast iron coming out of the house and preformed the hydro jetting up the line to the bathroom group. After completing the jetting I replaced all piping with PVC and added a new 4” clean out.
Chad N.
Today we arrived to a whole bathroom clog. After clearing the clog with the K60 and preforming a camera evaluation I determined that there was root intrusion at the existing clean out and excessive scale build up in the main line coming from the bathroom fixture group. I explained to the customer that the clean out needed to be replaced and a jetting is recommended. I explained that the clean out replacement was part of the jetting process and would make good sense to complete both at the same time. The customer agreed and scheduled for the first call on 6/16/23.

Customer had stoppage in both bathrooms located in master and hallway, went from the roof and cleared stoppage from main stack, ran 75 feet of cable to city went down tested bathroom and all sinks, tubs and toilets drained fine. Pulling back the cable i pulled back roots, customer says city installed pvc cleanout maybe a year ago, suggested line to be camera’d to locate source of roots. If customer wants to move forward with camera they will pay balance left of the 614.39 due to me not having a camera on hand today.($233.29)

Upon arrival the customer stated the handle in the shower that was recently worked on was a little loose. I recently changed the cartridge in this shower and when I installed the handle it didn’t tighten far enough so the handle was a little wobbly. I tightened the screw for the handle and checked for any movement. Everything is nice and tight now.
