When it comes to getting your plumbing right the first time, let us show you how it's done.

How much does it cost to have the drain and sewer cleaned in Fort Lauderdale?

On average, the cost can range from $150 to $500. Simple clogs that require snaking or hydro jetting may fall on the lower end of the range, while more complex clogs or extensive sewer line cleaning may be on the higher end. Additional costs may apply if there are damaged pipes or the need for camera inspections. To get an accurate cost estimate, it's advisable to contact local plumbing professionals who can assess the situation and provide a detailed quote.

How do I know if my main sewer line is clogged in Fort Lauderdale?

There are several signs that can indicate a clogged main sewer line. First, multiple drains in your home may be slow to empty or completely backed up. You might also notice gurgling sounds coming from drains or toilets when using water elsewhere in the house. Unpleasant odors, especially near drains or in the basement, can also be a sign. Additionally, if you experience frequent toilet backups or water backups in the lowest drains of your home, it could indicate a clog in the main sewer line. If you suspect a clog, it's best to contact a professional plumber to perform an inspection and provide appropriate solutions.

Upon arrival to the location, I called maxine to allow me access inside the building. She sent her grandson who took me upstairs, and Maxine showed me inside to the kitchen. Moreover, she explained she bought a new refrigerator from Best Buy about two weeks ago without an ice maker connection. When they came to install the fridge, they didn’t cap the ice maker line and tapped it to the wall but in that instance they kinked the line which caused the slow leak to occur. Furthermore, the line was currently still dripping slowly when I arrived, the Best Buy installer turned the shut off valve under the kitchen sink off, but apparently the valve is not functioning properly which is why the leak has continued. There is water damage on the floor, I mentioned entrusted but they will like to wait on that but took their contact information from me. I asked Maxine if she had a main shut off valve for the unit, which she did. I mentioned I couldn’t touch it due to it being an old style gate valve

Upon arrival to the location, i had trouble locating the building. I actually went up to the wrong door but luckily Julie was pulling up and spotted me. She directed me on the correct building which was next one over. she mentioned that usually happens when following the gps here. Moreover, we met with the tenant who showed us inside and in living room was an old heater hook up she mentioned that needs to be capped off because she wants to cover that up with drywall. She showed me the meter around back. There’s one tankless water heater for the apartments units, which was in the back room in someone’s else’s apartment. In addition, I gave julie an option for capping the line, which she thought was fair. Hence, I turned the meter off temporarily and capped the line. I turned the gas back on and tested for leaks, and none were detected. Tech will turn off main gas mater to install a cap on line inside the unit where old water heater was removed. Will assure no leaks afterwards.

Upon arrival, technician was told by the customer that she’s not getting any hot water. Technician then proceeded to go down into the basement and test the newly installed water heater. After running a few tests, technician concluded that customer is indeed getting hot water from the newly installed water heater. Customer is getting hot water downstairs and getting hot water upstairs. But due to the travel distance, it takes a while for the water to get hot upstairs. Technician did notice that customer has a another water heater in the cellar, but it does not have any electrical wires going to it. Technician thinks that that water heater could be a hot water storage tank. But the issue with that theory is there’s no way for the water to stay hot. *technician believes that somewhere in the seller or in the upstairs bathrooms there’s cold water crossing into the hot water. But due to the way that the house is piped out, it is hard to pinpoint where the issue lies. Technician recommend

Upon arrival to the location, I met with homeowner Mrs. Metropoulos who opened the front door for me and showed me inside. She began by mentioning she has a leak coming from the tankless water heater which she got installed 8 years ago. She stated since day one she hasn’t been getting enough hot water to her tub. There’s two bathrooms in the home but they have a tank water heater which feeds Greg’s bathroom on the other side of the home. The tank is in the bathroom cabinets, with no access. The tankless water heater feeds her bathroom, laundry room and kitchen. She stated it was permitted and she even got a panel upgrade back then. The unit itself was leaking slowly from multiple locations, she had a container holding the water when I arrived. I recommended her on upgrading the unit to possibly a 24kW to be able to supply adequate hot water. The exiting tankless is a 18kw which from the beginning was not enough for her. Hence, she mentioned she had a meeting shortly. I told her I’ll ha

Upon arrival, the customer demonstrated the blockage in the kitchen sink drain. After assessing the situation, we presented multiple options for resolution. The customer opted for a drain clearing service using a K60 machine from the waste arm to clear the blockage. We informed the customer that this method is not a permanent fix and does not carry a warranty. During the process, we observed grease chunks flowing through the cleanout and advised the customer that jetting the line would be the best long-term solution to prevent future blockages. Additionally, we recommended replacing both angle stops under the kitchen sink, as they were highly prone to leaking or seizing. With the customer's approval, we replaced them with quarter-turn ball valves for improved reliability and ease of use. We also provided estimates for all necessary work, including main valve replacements and jetting services. This estimate includes a 10% discount. Upon completion, we verified proper functionality and

I came back to customer to install a heater pan for inspection. It required me to drain down the heater and disconnect from water supply & electric. I installed pan and reconnected the heater. Also provided straps for the electrical wire. I had to inform customer that his breaker is over amped and will not pass inspection. I explained to him that code will fail him for an over amped breaker. His previous install was grandfathered in under old code. However, because he had to change the heater, he is required to bring it up to code. I advised him to call an electrician and have a 20 amp breaker installed instead of existing 30 amp. Customer confirmed.

Upon arrival customer has a back up in both bathrooms of the condo. We have an estimate to the customer to pull and reset the toilet and snake the line. Customer wants to make sure it’s not the building responsibility first and have the building examine the issue. Blockage is most likely in the vertical stack. Customer will reach out tomorrow once the building does their inspection of the stack.

Upon arrival customer advised me that her inspector informed her that her master bathroom shower was not draining properly. I advised customer I would need to run a diagnostic to determine where the blockage was. After diagnostic, I showed customer a large amount of debris in the drain. I used a shop vacuum to suck most of the drain clear. After that I promptly snaked the drain with a k45. I ran multiple tests on the shower drain and the corresponding bathroom group. All drains were free flowing. I also advised customer that I would need to check the rest of the property to make sure the plumbing integrity is upheld. I ran a brief four point plumbing diagnostic. The guest bathroom group was tested multiple times and examined. Flow rate of water was great and the drain integrity was solid. The kitchen sink was drop tested multiple times. Angle stop valves and supply lines seem to be new. There were no leaks. Sink drained with a pronounced vortex 10/10 times. The heater was receivin

River the Plumber is very knowledgeable and fixed my water heater. He did a very good job. He noticed the previous plumber installed the water heater wrong and it caused sparks where it was connected and the part was burned out and River needed to replace it because there was no hot water. I could not take a shower for four days. River works for John the Plumber. He is the only person I would use in this company.
