Upon arrival, customer had the toilet she purchased ready for install. Customer previously deposited $250 for a customer supply toilet install. The moment we arrived, we begin draining the old toilet down in preparation for removal. Disconnected the water supply and remove the flange bolts. Once the toilet was pulled, we made sure that the waxing was clean and all caulking and remnants work were clear. I then tested the flange to make sure it was not cracked or moving before I secured the new toilet. Also check the 3 inch closet flange drain to make sure that there was no stoppages or anything down the drain. Once we set the new toilet, we made sure That the wax ring was not compromised and then tighten the flange bolts to secure the toilet. After testing the toilet multiple times to make sure it was holding water and flushing properly within, caulk the toilet and secured it to the floor. Customer was very satisfied and paid the rest of the balance.

Upon arrival, customer informed me that her guest bathroom toilet was leaking from the tank. After brief diagnostic and some research, I realized that John the plumber did a minor rebuild on the tank about a year ago. I told customer that the compromise in her tank is from the tank to bowl bolts. I recommended to the customer that she replaced the toilet because she has done repairs on this toilet before and the toilet is 25 years old. I gave the customer some options on the toilets that John the plumber has available, but the customer requested to buy her own toilet and asked how much we would charge to put it in. I advised customer that we would need to install new waxing and flange bolts with her toilet. I did make customer aware that if I pull the toilet and the flange is cracked, I would need to create a new estimate to replace the flange. Customer bought an American standard. Customer stated she will contact the office when she receives the toilet which is scheduled to be deliver

At this time, no estimate was submitted. I need a gray box for me and Don to come back out and assess the job site prior to submitting estimate.

Upon arrival the homeowner had 3 lavatory drains that had accordion p-traps that the inspector failed. I replaced them with new 1 1/2 tubular p-traps. I had to cut a small section on the hallway cabinet with the homeowners approval to make the new p-trap fit. After everything was done I filled the sinks and tested for leaks. Everything is draining good with no leaks.

Upon arrival I was shown to the kitchen faucet where the faucet head and pull out hose had snapped. Customer had already ordered the replacement parts and the estimate to replace the hose and the head was signed. I did not touch anything else underneath the kitchen sink besides the pull out hose and faucet head. After my install I ran the faucet to ensure water was being correctly supplied and checked my connections for leaks and none are present

Upon arrival we had to update kitchen sink with new shut off valves, customer supplied faucet, emergency stops, and tubular drainage. We will also had to update secondary bath with new emergency shut offs customer supplied lavatory faucet, and supply valve to toilet. Upon arrival, customer informed me that they had a stoppage on the second floor of a townhouse in the master bathroom. After brief diagnostic, I informed customer that the stoppage is most likely in the mainline and I would need to pull the toilet to snake the drain. I did attempt to use a toilet auger to clear the drain, however, after running all the pictures in the bathroom I noticed that the shower was also backing up. As a result, I informed customer that I would need to pull the toilet off and use a K 60 reel to clear the drain. Customer agree. After pulling the toilet, I used 45 feet of K 60 real and cleared the stop. It was in the stack and I advised the homeowner that it was most likely a pre-existing issue. The new tenants have only been there for three days and the stoppage was pretty solid. So I advised this owner that the stoppage was most likely in the stack prior to the people moving it. After clearing the drain, I reset the toilet and provided the new wax ring and flang

Upon arrival, I supplied and installed a new 1” Moen flow with ball valve and new hose bib on left side of home where water service enters. Tested awesome.

Site Observation & Client Request: Customer had prior inspection by a plumber utilizing a sewer inspection camera. Findings indicate a collapsed section of the house drain at the base of the master bathroom stack. Client requests two estimates: Spot Repair – Targeted excavation and localized repair at the failure point near the master bathroom stack. Also advised customer to send cam inspection video to office and if not able to we would have to perform a cam and locate to provide a accurate estimate

Upon arrival customer just bought unit and wanted to update plumbing. We did a whole home walk through of plumbing to find all emergency stops in unit will have to be updated to a 1/4 turn shut off minus the master bathroom. The kitchen faucet will need to be updated as well as secondary bath faucet. Customer will provide both faucets for us to then install. Tubular drain to kitchen sink is old style glue in trap that will have to be updated to a quick connect ptrap in order to snake drain in future. Both main water shut off and water heater supply valve will be updated as well as having a taco auto shut off valve installed. Water heater is 6 years old and out of manufacture warranty so the taco auto shut off will be a good choice to keep an eye on heater. Thank you for calling John The Plumber and we will hear from you soon about scheduling. -Shane

Upon arrival, customer informed me that his kitchen sink was backing up. I advised customer I have to perform a diagnostic which would include removing the P-trap and isolating the garbage disposal to make sure it was draining properly. After diagnostic, I immediately determined that the garbage disposal was the cause of the actual clog. Not only was the garbage disposal, not draining, but it was also seized, and the motor was burnt out. I explained to the customer that if the garbage disposal is not working properly and not chopping food. It will get clogged. I wrote a proposal for the replacement of a garbage disposal for the customer. Customer agreed, and I began the installation. New garbage disposal is a premium insinkerator. After installation, I tested multiple times for leaks. No leaks. Customer satisfied.

Water Heater Replacement Summary: The customer contacted us requesting an estimate to replace their existing water heater. Upon arrival, we inspected an aging AO Smith electric unit that was visibly deteriorated, showing significant signs of corrosion, wear, and overall inefficiency. Based on its condition and age, we recommended a full replacement to restore reliable hot water service to the home. After evaluating the plumbing configuration, installation space, and electrical setup, we provided a detailed estimate to install a new 40-gallon Rheem tall electric water heater (3500-watt). The estimate also included obtaining the required permit and upgrading the existing electrical disconnect switch to a code-compliant model to meet current safety standards. During inspection of the electrical panel, we also noted that the breaker supplying power to the water heater must be rated between 20 to 25 amps in order to meet code and pass final inspection. If adjustments are needed to the bre
Quick and painless. Will use again

Upon arrival customer showed us to the master bathroom where they proceeded to tell me they accidentally dropped a small strainer into the toilet where it is now lodged and toilet won’t flush. We presented them with an estimate to pull the toilet to extract the item but the customer declined. They have a plumber they know that will do it. Customer said they will call us back if they cannot get ahold of them. We left a card for contact.

Upon arrival, customer informed me that the tile guy she had to come in and close the wall over the valve made a mistake. The tile guy closed most of the valve in the wall, so I needed to chip open about a 1 inch additional diameter so I can screw The trim plate into the valve. After opening the wall to secure the trim plate I assembled the Delta trim and installed the tub spout. I caulked in all fixtures and ran multiple test to make sure there were no leaks. I also tested the pressure in the entire house Because the customer had previous issues with her meter in the city. Pressure seemed to be normal. I advised customer that the only charge would be for the trim installation which we did not charge her for before because we did not complete the work. Customer was very satisfied.

Upon arrival, customer informed me that her tile guy said that our valve was too far out of the wall for him to put tile after assessment. I informed customer that the valve was not too far out of the wall and what he needed to do was removed the plastic valve guard. I advised customer that the tile guy should use the valve guard as a guide to make his cuts. I am from customer that he would need to leave that diameter open for access to the valve. Customer understands that the face plate will cover the hole because it is a larger diameter. This was not a recall!

Upon arrival to the location, I met with charlotte and her son who showed us the purchased toilets in the garage. I noticed the toilet she wanted in the guest bathroom was probably not going to fit due to the banjo vanity. I measured and it was too big. She mentioned she’ll go grab another while we do the master bathroom toilet. Moreover, both valves were working fine, we removed the toilet and installed new toilet. We flushed numerous times to assure no leaking before applying caulking. Shortly after, charlottes son arrived with the new toilet. We had the other one out, so we got the new one in place and checked for leaks. No leaks were found, so we caulked around base and all is well at the moment. Before we left, charlotte mentioned about remodeling the bathroom and getting a shower instead of the tub. I already got her schedule with entrusted for tomorrow, but I have her estimates for the plumbing portion. Will follow up next week.

Homeowner met with us to request water heater quote. Wanted quote to reflect him removing the water from the heater and electrical. Also wanted to make himself responsible for haul away or disposal of heater. Priced without permit per homeowner

Upon arrival to the location, I met with homeowner charlotte who showed came out the home and took me around the side to the back, where she had the hose bib leaking. The hose bib was leaking in the wall, she was aware it would need to be partially opened to gain access, I told her I will patch it back afterwards. She mentioned it’s been leaking for some time, not sure how long. Charlotte also stated she purchased two toilets and wants us to install it, she stated Lowe’s will deliver it by Saturday. Moreover, i got her some options based off what we discussed and she decided to just get the hose bib out back repaired with the toilet installation. Furthermore, i got what was needed, after opening the wall, i spotted the pin hole leak and shut the water off to make the repair. I then turned the water back on after I made the repair to make sure the repair was not leaking. After confirming no leaks, I then patched the wall back and called charlotte to show her the work. Charlotte wanted t

We arrived at the property and met onsite contact who explained that the city had noted a small leak at the water meter. Upon arrival, we performed a pressure test on the home’s water system by installing a pressure gauge and monitoring for any signs of pressure loss. Our findings confirmed that there is no leak under the home. However, we did observe a very slow pressure drop when isolating the section of pipe between the water meter and the main shutoff valve outside the home. This suggests a very minor leak somewhere along that section of the line. There are no signs of active water surfacing, and the water pressure inside the home is not being affected at this time. If there are any questions or if further steps are desired, we are available to assist Price to put gauge on home to confirm there is a leak.

Very Good service
Called With an emergency issue, and the technician was out within a couple hours and had it resolved. Appreciate the quick response Time.
Great and prompt Service,
The service guy was very pleasant, but the company is very overpriced. I initially had a leak, that was prepared and ended up with two additional issues from that repair. I would recommend price shopping before settling with this company. They quoted me 3K for a job that was ultimately 1500.
Carl was very thorough and explained what was happening as he had encountered a problem. He tried everything he could to solve the problem and even reached out to the manufacturer and they were baffled. Would recommend Carl and John's Plumbing for any plumbing job around your house.
