Customer had a toilet stoppage. I ran the water from all fixtures in her bathroom group. Nothing else was backing up. I determined that the stoppage was in the closet fixture itself. I used a closet auger to pull a paper towel bundle from the trap which was causing the backup. I also notified customer that we recommend changing her main gate valve to a ball valve so that in the event that something leaks she is able to turn the water off easily. I also explained to her how a gate valve works and why they fail. I mentioned that while I’m there I can easily bring her heater up to code by installing a switch. Customer did let me know that she is on a fixed income and financing would still not be feasible for her. I told her I would send over the estimate for the gate valve replacement.
Upon arrival customer showed me kitchen sink stoppage Gave customer option to clean stoppage from cleanout customer agreed At this time stoppage is clear stoppage was onion and potato peels from the dinner he made last night Customer only wanted us to clear stoppage
Upon arrival we were shown to a 19 year old water heater. An estimate to replace the water heater, main valve and heater valve were presented and the customer will think about it and get back to us
Upon arrival customer informed us that the hot water heater was leaking. I checked the heater date and it was 2011. There was a large amount of sediment and water running into the drain pan. I informed customer that we can replace the unit today with warranty. She agreed. Pulled existing hot water heater and replaced with new 30 gallon. Informed customer about permit and inspection. Documented before and after pictures. Filled heater and tested for leaks. Also tested new installed switch.
Upon arrival, the customer directed me to the upstairs guest bathroom, where the tub faucet was unable to shut off. Upon further inspection, it was determined that the Moen Posi-Temp cartridge was stripped internally, causing it to rotate without engaging properly. The defective cartridge was replaced with a new one, fully restoring functionality. The system was thoroughly tested to ensure there are no leaks or drips.

Arrived to customer, we informed customer that P-trap under new tub and overflow drain was original. We also found that in kids upstairs bathroom the current toilet is constantly running and tank to bowl gaskets are rusting out as well as flush valve gasket is starting to disintegrate. We informed customer of options, at this time. Customer approved estimate for replacement of toilet. We collected 50% deposit for replacement of upstairs kids bathroom toilet and we will be contacting you shortly to schedule appointment for installation.
Upon arrival customer wanted a double vanity installed in master bath, as well as single vanity and toilet installed in secondary bathroom. Upon further inspection the drains are too low for double vanity and the main stack sanitation tee will need to be raised for proper placement of vanity to avoid cutting out shelving and to have operational drawers. Also the copper piping in wall has a shark bite 90 on stub out for emergency stop and it will need to be replaced with a permanent 90. We will also replace all emergency stops underneath both vanities. Main water shut off is old style gate valve, and needs to be updated to a 1/4 turn shut off. The old style gate valves fail due to a rubber gasket inside. New 1/4 turn ball valve will last 30+ years. All work will be warrantied for 1 year. Upon todays visit, customer had a t/p relief valve that was dripping. The t/p previously was connected to drain pipe right near tank. We removed old t/p relief valve and piped line to existing drain pipe. Further inspection, tank is almost out of warranty and we gave an estimate for replacement. We also provided an estimate for a minor toilet rebuild due to a noisy fill valve.
on arrival gave customer estimate to replace 30 gallon Rheem water heater and guest bedroom along with installing pan hardwired with switch installing customer supplied Moen flow installing main three-quarter ball valve with building shut down
On arrival found Badger 5 disposal not working left side of double bowl kitchen sink removed and installed new badger five disposal ran water test good one year parts and labor warranty.
Performed leak detection and open up marble panel on side of jet tub in mast Bathroom. And found that it was leaking from tub overflow after filling Jett tub up to top tightened the tub overflow and stoped the leak ran water and Jett’s making sure no other leaks . Customer is responsible for all tile and marble repairs.
On arrival, customer is not home found water coming out of meter box would need to unearth water service at box to make repair gave estimate to customer. He needs to speak to wife on estimate given.
I arrived and turned on the water in the shower and at that time the water began to back up which indicated to me that it would need to be drill snake , I began to drill snake the shower and immediately to water began to drain automatically. I then called the customer to make sure the shower was draining to her liking
I arrived and entered the kitchen I ran the water in the sink and in 30 seconds it began to back up, indicating to me it was clogged and would need a drill snake entering the waist arm, I removed the p-trap underneath the kitchen sink ran the drill snake and cleared the stoppage. I put the p trap back on filled the sink with water to assure it was draining properly
Customer cancelled work as insurance will not be paying for the work. Requested refund of deposit. Verified permit not in process and cancelled.
Customer had high water bill. I offered a leak detection $598.00 ,customer declined and just wanted to go with the leaks assessment 99$ .while performing leak assessment noticed the hose bib was Leaking so replaced that and meter was still running not as much but very minor movement customer was not interested in going through with further leak detection he was in a rush to a meeting. I advised to have a leak detection asap and also recommend a new water heater witch is a liability for future leaks do to the age. Customer will call office when ready to have work done.
Came out today to evaluate a leak in front of the water meter in the front yard I explained that we need to dig it up and expose the pipe before we can give a price for repair. I dug everything up and exposed the cracked 90” pvc fitting I had to cut out roots all around the pipe and the main root was about 2 inches in diameter and was running right along the top of the pipe causing stress to be put on the fittings and pipe causing the crack. We have given the quote to make the repair but customer declined.
Came out today to preform a free whole home evaluation apart of becoming a JTP Member we evaluated all fixtures, drains and valves and gave are best recommendations to bring the homes plumbing up to code and make everything as safe as possible. All estimates have been sent over.
Arrived to customer, this was a presold job. We removed old leaking tub drain and installed new tubular drain. After installation, we checked for proper functionality and filled tub up and drop tested to check for leaks, you are good to go!
Came for membership visit after speaking to customer he really just wanted to know why the shower got scolding hot when the toilet was flushed . He was not interested In the home inspection but I insisted on just taking a Quick Look at all the plumbing .Last I was here I performed a repipe so I overlooked all the plumbing everything looked good also flushing the water heater which he was pleased to have done . I recommended moen flow shuttoff valve . Also I explained that the older moen valves do not have an anti scolding mechanism in it and he would have to change the valve to a newer moen valve with anti scolding mechanism to fix the problem .
Arrived to customer, we found that Garage roof has water stain, we would need to cut damaged drywall and access leak. We presented estimates for leak search upstairs or downstairs, customer approved. After cutting drywall and running upstairs kids tub we found that tub drain is leaking. At this time we presented estimates to customer for replacement of tub drainage, they approved. Customer would like to schedule additional appointment for repair!

JTP provided tub faucet and install checked all work for leaks . Customer is responsible for replacing tile and dura rock board.
Arrive to customer, found that upstairs lavatory sink had very low pressure since yesterday when water was shut off by one of our plumbers. We removed aerator and found tons of junk and junk. After cleaning, we reinstalled with new washer, checked for proper functionality and you are good to go!
