Job Locations and Reviews
Upon arrival the customer wasn’t on site but her contractor was. The contractor informed me that they wanted a quote on running water and sewer lines to the new desired location for a kitchen island. I informed the customer that for me to give them an accurate estimate that I would have to perform a camera inspection and locating service. The customer declined the camera inspection and asked if I could give a rough estimate without performing the camera inspection. With management approval I was able to build an estimate for the scope of work.
Upon arrival I was unable to make contact with the customer. I was able to get ahold of Shaun and get signatures for the heater install. Nobody here to let me in. Office will need to reschedule for install.
We arrived today because my customers water heater was leaking. After assessing the water heater is was pouring out from the bottom of the tank. We removed the old heater, dried the area and installed a new 50 gallon tall water heater with a new pan and 3/4” shutoff valve. After he installation was complete we turned the water and power on and everything was functioning perfectly.
I arrived today because my customers toilet was clogged. After assessing the bathroom and determining that the clog was local to the toilet I used my toilet auger and pulled a small kids toy out of the trap in the toilet. After removing the toy the toilet was flushing perfect.
Upon arrival I was greeted by the homeowner at the garage door and he led me to the hosebib located just to the left of the garage door. I noticed instantly that the pipe was twisted and was told that he had to keep a hose on it to prevent it from leaking freely. I provided him with the price for me to replace it with a 1/4 turn hosebib and he accepted the price. Upon receiving authorization I promptly shut the water off at the main valve and drained the lines. I then sweated off the twisted section of pipe and put a new stub piece in the t on the wall. I then soldered on the stub piece and hosebib. Upon completion I turned the hosebib off and turned the water back on to the house at the main valve, I then checked for leaks. I found none. I took a look at their water heater because he had informed me that it was over 10 years old. I took pictures of the heater and provided him 2 estimates for the heater. He then inquired about whole home filtration and I provided him an estimate for an
Upon arrival I was greeted at the front door and led to the hallway bathroom where I found water coming from the base of the toilet when I ran the sink. I gave the homeowner the price to get on the roof and snake the clog through the stack. Upon receiving authorization I promptly got on the roof and was able to clear the clog and ended up pulling wipes out on the end of my cable.
I arrived today because my customer had a gurgling noise while taking a shower. After running the tub and flushing the toilet for 15 minutes I didn’t hear anything. I opened the exterior cleanout and saw the pipe was halfway full of water. I ran my K60 from the cleanout to the city and the water level dropped.
Upon arrival customer showed me to location of water heater. Upon inspection I was able to identify the humming coming from the heater when it is heating water. Providing estimate on heater replacement along with other issues to be resolved. Removed bidet seat from master bath toilet.
Removed toilet and pulled toy from bottom of toilet and reset toilet . Toilet flushing as normal. Discounted to get the job charged as price of roof stoppage.
Arrived to relocate the water heater, we moved the dryer into the garage and replumbed the heater in its spot using flex lines. (Per Sam)
The project will be to tunnel from the back of the house at the two bathrooms and repipe from the bathrooms to the kitchen, laundry pipe and to the front of the house where the sewer exits the residence. We will remove all cast iron under the slab and replace with new PVC.
Came out today to diagnose a leak coming from the shower in hall bathroom apoun inspection I noticed it was a main line clog and when customer was showering it backed up and leaked from the wax ring flooding out the bathroom. We went from the roof vent and snaked 75 feet in order to clear the clog. And tested the bathroom extensively flushing 15+ times to ensure wax ring is not leaking. Also ran the camera from bathroom vent and found a lot of buildup and sludge on the pipe walls that’s causing stoppages. We have sent over estimate to replace cleanout in front yard and descale the pipe and hydro jet them clean to hopefully get more years of life from the pipe before replacement is necessary.
Upon arrival the owner showed me the tankless unit on the back of the building. I provided pricing to replace the unit and the customer said they will call if they would like to move forward.
The project will be to access under the house to access the cast iron drain line that burst at the bottom of the laundry stack. We will access through the floor in the home and replace the broken cast iron with new PVC. The quote is for up to 10 feet of pipe to be replaced. We will remove all broken pipe to the point were there is quality cast iron to connect to. The price quoted includes all material, labor, permits and engineering fees. Claim number- 004925370-009 We opened 10’ of the floor and removed the cast iron from the laundry room stack to the kitchen tee. We did not have good pipe to reconnect to so I capped the new line. We have to access the pipe through the kitchen and living room to find quality pipe to reconnect to tomorrow.
I came out today to flush the 6 year old natural gas tankless water heater. The heater hasn’t been flushed in a couple of years. The back bathroom water temperature is reading approximately 104 degrees. This is one of the reasons why I’m flushing the water heater to see if that helps increase the water temperature in the back bathroom. The water in the kitchen is reading between 108-111 degrees. After flushing the tankless heater the bathroom is now reading 107. There was an increase In temperature by 3 degrees. This is an estimate to flush the natural gas tankless water heater.
Upon arrival the two end units were backed up into the tub and toilets. Paul showed me where the clean out was in the front or the building. I took the cap off the clean out, and it was full of water. I ran 30 feet of k-60 cable down stream and cleared that. When I pulled the cable out there was a pair of pink underwear on the cable. The front units were still backed up. I then ran 75 feet of k-60 up stream. When I pulled out the cable there was a rag on the end of the cable. After I pulled the cable out the water started to flow through good. I went into both of the units and ran all of the bathroom fixtures and flushed the toilets several times. Everything is flushing fine and draining good.
We came back to the residence because the home owners said water started coming out again while using the laundry machine. When I arrived I turned the machine back on and water started coming out of the wall at the slab. The stack has no leaks above ground so there is a leak underground and it is forcing the water to come up.
We arrived today to assess a leak my customer had in her laundry room. After running the washing machine, putting a hose in the drain pipe and pressure testing the home I determined that it wasn’t a plumbing leak. The water is showing up next to an exterior wall so I referred Intrusted to come out and assess that.
When we arrived, we provided an estimate for a filtration and some other work that needs to be completed.
Upon arrival I found the toilet in the restroom was leaking at the base of the toilet. I pulled the toilet and found the old wax ring was rotted away so it was leaking under the toilet. I used a new wax ring and reset the toilet and then used new grout to seal the toilet. All materials and labor are included. Tested the toilet for a proper flush and checked all over for any leaks.
Upon arrival customer showed me to the hallway bathroom where she informed me that the toilet was filling up intermittently. I gave the customer some options on what I could do for her. The customer declined all options for today but she said that she would call us soon to schedule us for installing a new customer supplied toilet.
Arrived today to replace the copper piping from the shower valve to the tub spout. I started with putting down a blanket over the tub and removing the tile I needed to do the job. After removing the tile I removed the old copper piping that was leaking and replaced it with new JTP supplied 1/2” copper and new 1/2” fittings. After the install was done I tested the new copper for leaks. No leaks.
Upon arrival customer showed me to the hallway bathroom where the toilet was leaking from the base when you flush it. I informed her that the toilet would need pulled and reset with a new wax ring. I gave the customer multiple options so that she could choose what works best. The customer went with the bronze option as it was the most cost effective for what she needed done. I pulled the toilet and that’s when I noticed that the cast iron flange was cracked. I quoted the customer on installing a pvc repair flange and she agreed. I installed the new repair flange, new wax ring, and new Johnny bolts. I then reset the toilet and flushed it several times to test for leaks. No leaks.
Upon arrival customer stated that she had a leak from her unit (204) going down to unit 104. I went down to unit 104 and asked if I could go inside to look for the leak. The tenant agreed. I removed the vent cover for the exhaust fan in the bathroom and used my 3ft inspection camera to look for the leak while I had my coworker flush the toilet and run the tub in unit 204. While flushing the toilet I didn’t see any leak. While running the tub I didn’t see any leak. Although, when I asked my coworker to run the shower head instead of the tub spout I saw drops of water coming from above the tub drain. I went back to unit 204 and removed the shower arm and noticed that there was no Teflon tape on the wing el connection. The customer also informed me at this point that you have to jiggle the fill valve in the toilet to get it to work. I quoted the customer on repairing the shower arm and also doing a minor toilet rebuild. I told the customer that if she decided to go with the minor rebuild
Don went out to evaluate the issue. We had installed 2 rtex 4. The bathroom was only a 20 amp breaker and kept tripping as the unit was a 30 amp unit. The kitchen was hooked up to a 240 volt when it was only a 120 volt unit and it blew the unit by overpowering it. Don replaced the bathroom unit with a Steibel Eltron POU unit and replaced the kitchen with an rtex 6.
