Summary of Work Performed: We returned to the property to address the previously reported issue of water hammer. After evaluating the plumbing system, we began by thoroughly flushing the lines to clear any trapped air or sediment that might contribute to hydraulic shock in the pipes. Following the flush, we installed a water hammer arrester at a key location to help absorb any pressure surges and reduce pipe movement. After the installation, we ran multiple tests across various fixtures throughout the home — including sinks, toilets, washing machine, and dishwasher connections — to check for any signs of water hammer. Results: • No hammering or banging noises were heard during testing. • System maintained consistent pressure and behaved as expected during quick shut-off conditions. • All fixtures operated quietly and normally after the installation. Conclusion: At this time, the water hammer issue appears to be fully resolved. The system is functioning properly, and no further

Upon customer request, John, the plumber will terminate the water to the dishwasher temporarily and turn power off to dishwasher so service man can service the dishwasher. Upon arrival customer showed us that the laundry was backing up into the kitchen. We provided an estimate to snake through the patio clean out and the customer agreed. We ran the k50 through the clean out on the wall behind the kitchen. We ran roughly 50ft of cable and was successful in clearing the blockage. Upon arrival, customer informed me that his garbage disposal was leaking and he had water coming from the bottom of his dishwasher. After diagnostic, I determine that the leak was from the garbage disposal flange. I recommend it to customer that they replaced the garbage disposal. Customer agreed I also removed and unmounted the dishwasher to do a leak detection diagnostic. After removing the dishwasher, I determine that the dishwasher connections were not compromise. I informed the customer that the water from the bottom of the dishwasher was from the leak in the sink when the dishwasher discharged it sent water in large quantities into the P-trap, which filled the P-trap and forced the water out of the compromised flange. Dishwasher cubby was dry underneath, and there was no extensive water damage. I re-mounted the dishwasher for the customer and made sure it was working. After the completion of installing new garbage disposal, I reconnected the drain and tested for leaks. No leaks.

We met with the homeowner, Lisa, who reported a hammering or knocking noise coming from the attic area. We entered the attic and inspected all visible plumbing lines. Our previous work was found to be strapped properly and showed no signs of loose or unsupported piping. However, as a precautionary measure, we installed additional pipe straps to ensure maximum stability and to rule out any movement. After strapping the lines, the hammering noise continued. We traced the sound and determined that it was most likely coming from the shower valve located in the hall bathroom. Based on the symptoms, we believe the cartridge inside the valve and the integral stops may be failing and contributing to the noise issue. Additionally, we inspected the master shower valve and confirmed that it is also in need of internal repairs. However, parts for that valve are currently unavailable. We advised Lisa that a separate quote will be provided for the master valve once compatible components are locate

We met with the homeowner today, who explained they are working with Entrusted and need a quote for replacing the existing shower pan on the second floor under permit. The current setup is a shower, but it is clearly configured from a previous tub installation. To bring the space up to code and complete the proper shower pan installation, the following work will be required: • The existing drain is offset, consistent with an old tub setup. We will move the drain to center only if the subfloor is wood. • If the subfloor is concrete, the drain will remain in place to avoid triggering a structural permit. • We may need to open the ceiling below to access and modify the drain line. • The existing drain line may also need to be upsized to 2” if the inspector requires it. • The shower valve is currently lower than standard shower height. We are quoting two options: • Leave the valve at its current height. • Raise the valve to standard shower height. We will send a separate detaile
Lin did an amazing job, he explained clearly what needed to be done, he was knowledgeable and helpful. Great guy

Summary of Visit: We met with the homeowner, who reported a sewer-like odor in the home. Upon inspection, we did not detect a sewer smell but did notice a musty or mold-like odor. Findings: • No visible signs of active leaks were observed during our inspection. • The odor does not appear to be sewage-related, but rather moldy in nature. Recommendations & Next Steps: • We presented the homeowner with options for a full leak search in case the issue is plumbing-related. • The homeowner has chosen to wait for Entrusted to perform their own evaluation before moving forward with any plumbing leak search. • As an immediate measure, the homeowner plans to purchase an overflow brush to clean out the lavatory and tub overflows, which may help reduce odors. Status: We will remain available and the homeowner will keep us updated after Entrusted completes their visit. No additional recommendations at this time.
