Arrived to customer, we found that customers exterior hose bibs were gate valve style and were leaking. We presented estimates to customer for replacing all 3 on outside of home with new quarter turn brass valves, customer approved. After installation we turned water back on and checked for proper functionality and your good to go!

Arrived to customer, found that customer needed a major toilet rebuild on guest bathroom, pink toilet. At this time we informed customer of difference between major and minor toilet rebuild customer approved for major with valve replacement after shutting off water and replacing emergency valve. Customer called us back after digging and exposing pipe to identify where it was underground in her yard. Originally she had a clog on main line where it was elaborated that upon running a sewer inspection camera there was roots entering from a certain point. Since it was less than a week ago we proceeded in running camera a quick minute from existing easy access ground cleanout , and determined the line of damage was about 10 ft off from original camera inspection , then we provided estimate for spot repair in which customer said they will do it however her husband will not be available until 3 pm to finalize decision due to a important meeting. A customer called regarding a leak underground. When we arrived, the customer mentioned that American Leak Detection had already come out and performed a leak search but did not identify the exact line. The customer was confused as to why we needed to charge for another leak detection when it had already been done. After explaining that our company performs its own leak detection and cannot rely on another company’s findings, the customer decided to think it over with their wife. Additionally, the customer mentioned that a plumber from "John the Plumber" had visited a week ago and couldn't locate the leak, which led the customer to question our expertise in leak detection. As a result, they called American Leak Detection for a second opinion. The customer stated they would call back later today to schedule for Friday. Upon arrival to the location, I met with homeowner Ben who met us at the garage. He showed us the water heater that was holding at least 1 inch of water in pan. The water heater was installed last year in July, he stated he just noticed the water last week so he doesn’t know how long it’s been occurring. There’s no water signs on the actual tank itself. I told him I’ll do a drop test on the unit to see if it holds pressure. He then added that he had a stopper that got loose in his kids bathtub, and his master shower wouldn’t get hot enough. Moreover, I did not have a gauge on the truck, so I went to nearby supply house and got one. I then put the gauge on the water heater and shut the water off, and held at about 65-70 psi for 20 mins. Hence, the relief valve is going off periodically and dumping into the pan. There’s no expansion valve on the main, nor an expansion tank on the water heater. Upon arrival to the location, we met Anna who showed us inside. She explained she had a lot of going on and had a meeting at 12. Moreover, she showed us the kitchen and explained how it’s been leaking for some time. They are not sure where the leak is coming from. When i took a look underneath, I didn’t physically see the leak, but the supply line from the dishwasher was wet in multiple areas and rusted. She mentioned the garbage disposal also doesn’t work, it’s backed up so it causes the dishwasher to hold water. Her valves were also very worn out, I bring that to her attention. She then mentioned she wants to actually change the sink entirely, and showed me one she had already purchased, and stated her husband has a garbage disposal as well. Upon arrival to the location i met with Joel, Brian’s wife and Joel had another contractor who does their tile work who was there on behalf of entrusted. Brian was not home, we met his wife who met us at the front door, I believe her name was Jackie. She showed us the three bathrooms where they are planning on having work done. We walked through with her and Joel to look at everything and understand the scope of work. They have a lot of ideas that we are trying to help accommodate. Joel will update us when they have a project manager after they have contracts signed. We will get our options together and send them over when completed.

Arrived to customer, found that customer had dark colored water from shower inside and wanted estimate on replacing 80 gallon water heater from 2012. At this time we informed customer about quality of water as well as water heater replacement and presented estimates for just replacing water heater as per customers request. Arrived to customer, we found that customer was having water leak upon wall behind master bathroom vanity. We shut off main water to home and at this time presented estimate for leak search, customer approved estimate. After cutting into wall, we found that half-inch copper hot line coming overhead to feed vanity and shower had a pinhole leak due to corrosion. At this time we informed and recommended to customer installing whole home, filtration, and replacing 30 gallon, hot water tank, at this time customer just wanted to repair leak and flush current water heater tank. After doing so we cleaned up turn the water back on the check for proper functionality and you are good to go!

Leak on wall were previous reroute was performed by jtp. Open up wall at most saturated point to determine were leak is coming from and no evidence of leak there . Could not perform anymore work because I need to access through drywall and there is a wall unit in the way customer said they would have the wall unit removed over the weekend to perform leak detection. Customer feels that damage is done from previous jtp work and will not pay until it is determined that it is not from previous jtp work. Need to return when wall unit is moved to access wall to expose work.

Upon arrival customer explained that they were trying to replace their hallway bathroom faucet and assembly. Customer had a supplied Delta faucet brand new (open ended). I advised customer that I would need to replace the angle stops and supply lines as well. She agreed. I removed the old delta and discarded it. I reinstalled a new customer supplied faucet. I turned water on and tested for leaks. Customer also mentioned that her kitchen sink was something she wanted to replace next. She mentioned they are not in a hurry however they would like a quote to install it. I provided an estimate for a customer supplied install. I did explain the benefits of buying it through JTP. Customer has one that she wants and will buy her own. Estimate provided. I also explained to the customer why her fixtures are getting the orange buildup all over the house. Upon arrival customer had a shower valve that was leaking through tub spout. Shower cartridge needed to be changed. Further inspection kitchen faucet does not have pressure when it’s on the cold water side of mixing valve. Kitchen faucet will have to be changed as well as all emergency stops underneath kitchen kitchen sink. We also noticed main water shut off is an old style gate valve and will need to be updated to a 1/4 turn ball valve.we did go ahead and replace the shower cartridge and due to the back pitch of the spout there is rezidual water build up in tub spout, which makes for a slow drip. Upon arrival customer advised me that they have been having stoppages periodically and can’t figure out why. On Saturday, 2/1/25, customer had a major backup in the the master bathroom. Black water was coming up from the shower when the toilet flushed. Customer advised me that her husband went and bought a 75 foot k-60 cable and manually snaked out the cloggage temporarily. I advised customer that I would run a diagnostic on the drain. I would need to camera the line and possibly resnake. I did not have a camera on my truck as I was not asssigned one for today. I drove to meet another technician to get the proper equipment. Upon my return, I ran the camera downhill through the outside clean out. At 8ft, there was a 3” 45 and it turned left. Pipe went straight from there and at about 50 ft there was a major break in the top of the pipe. Roots were coming through the pipe. Water was flowing freely under the breakage because the husband pushed the cloggage through. I advised customer th

I came out today for a leaking hose bib on the left side of the house. I also noticed that the main valve was an old gate valve. I let the homeowner know that the gate valve needed to be replaced with a quarter turn ball valve so that he would know that it would not be seized up or not working. The homeowner agreed to change both items out. After replacing the hose bib and main valve I turned the water back on, and there are no leaks.

Two exterior hose bibs not working properly. I Removed three-quarter hose bib on right side of home and install new three-quarter ball valve style hose bib. I removed half-inch hose bib in rear home and install new half-inch ball valve style hose bib. Tested all work good.

Arrived to customer, we ran fish tape through leaking hot water line through slab to verify new reroute and capped leaking line and ran new half-inch water line through attic. We strapped new waterline on every stud we possibly could. after installation we turned water back on and verified that all fixtures were working and you are good to go!

Arrived to customer, sound that customer was hearing water running noises in two separate bathrooms. One being in master bath behind vanity and one in guest bathroom near kids room. At this time we presented estimates to customer for leak search, customer approved estimate. After performing leak search we found that hot side waterline is leaking through sleeve going through slab. At this time we presented estimates to customer for rerouting hotline overhead, customer approved 50% deposit and will be coming back the following day to run new waterline.

Arrived to customer, we found that customer needed replacement of both hot and cold valves feeding washing machine. We presented estimates to customer for replacement with quarter term hose bibs, customer approved after installation. We turned water back on and tested and checked for proper functionality and you are good to go!

On arrival, customer stated that his master bath toilet leaking from base. Angle stop for toilet did not have handle. I Removed old toilet installing new Kohler Kingston, two piece white toilet. I Removed old angle stop installing new angle stop. Guest bath toilet not flushing. Customer stated something was flushed down toilet and stuck inside of trap of toilet. I Remove toilet and install new Kohler Wellworth white toilet. Arrival tested all work good. Both toilets are 1.28 gallons per flush.

Arrived to customer, found that customer had a new toilet they wanted us to install, as well as 50 gallon water heater tank being from 2007. We presented estimates to customer at this time for both stated above, customer approved for only replacing toilet. After removing toilet, we found that PVC flange was in great condition. And we installed new customer supplied glacier bay 2 piece toilet. After installation we checked for proper functionality and tested for leaks As well as make sure customer was happy with work and you are good to go!
