Upon entry into the house, customer has standing water in tub. I proceeded to present estimate. Customer declined estimate and said she was going to rent a snake and do it herself to save the $272. We met with the homeowner on Friday regarding a plumbing issue in the home. The homeowner showed us an area where his handyman had previously opened up the wall. After inspecting the site, we confirmed that there is a slab leak. We explained the repair process, which involves cutting into the cabinet and running a new water line overhead to bypass the damaged section. The homeowner was informed that the full details of the repair and associated estimate would be provided via email. He agreed to the estimate during the visit, and we plan to return sometime this week to perform the work.

Upon arrival, the customer had a spinning handle in the master shower. The bolt was stripped, and we were unable to unscrew the handle from the stem. We attempted to drill out the bolt to remove the handle, but were unsuccessful due to the bolt being seized and damaged beyond removal. As a result, we had to cut the handle off in order to access the cartridge. Once the cartridge was exposed, we were able to retrieve the necessary information to order a replacement. We now also need to search for a new handle—either an exact match or a compatible equivalent that will fit the new cartridge. Once the replacement cartridge arrives, we will contact the customer to schedule the installation.

Upon arrival I advised customer that I would do a plumbing I inspection for the unit. After inspection I advised customer of the things that needed attention. The most imperative issue was a slow drain in guest bathtub. I offered to clear drain for customer at membership price. Customer agreed. Ross removed the tub strainer and ran a k45 reel through the tub drain. He then sealed the overflow and plunged the drain to clear any excess. Drain was cleared and water from tub drained flawlessly. Customer very satisfied.

Upon arrival customer informed me that she does not have hot water in her kitchen sink. She said that there have been multiple plumbers that have come to her to disgnose the problem. She said some of the plumbers were YouTube plumbers and none of them could solve the problem. I advised customer that I would take a look at the system for her. Immediately I disconnected hot and cold line and ran water directly from the stop for 5 mins. Both lines were cold. I immediately determined that there was no hot water line feeding the kitchen. Both lines were cold for the entirety of the test. Rest of condo was getting hot water instantly. Kitchen sink was the only place not getting hot water. I advised customer that we would need to run a hot feed from her hallway bathroom to her kitchen. Condo association does not allow any tankless hot water heater because of the electric. Upon arrival we were shown to the two bathrooms where the Toto toilets needed to be installed. We saw what we needed to do and presented the estimate which was agreed on. After the work was done we flushed both toilets multiple times each to ensure they are flushing properly and leak free

Customer called John the plumber for a quote on a 50 gallon 4500 watt water heater replacement. The current unit was 15 years of age and showed signs of age and leaks. Heater was located in the garage. We gave customer two estimates, we recommended the changing of the gate valve style shut off on the main water line, and also recommend getting rid of pigtail on heater to a hardwire switch. Customer notified us that he received two previous quotes from two companies, one quote was for $1900 and another quote was for $1450. We told customer we will call service manager to try to accommodate some of the pricing. We told him about six year warranty with parts and labor, also told customer that we would change pigtail style electrical to a hardwire for $1911.11. Customer would like to think about his options.

Upon arrival customer had to have vanity disconnected in order to access the flooring underneath vanity. We capped both 1/4 turn angle stops with a brass 3/8 cap and disconnected tubular drainage. Customer called John the plumber to give estimate for shower pan replacement. Upon arrival, we were notified that another company, Kyle plumbing, gave a previous quote. Customer wanted a second opinion on the issue. We notified customer of all options that will be in line with replacement of the shower pan. In the process we were notified that entrusted was called out and they will be doing demolition. We took measurements and also photographs of work area ceiling was accessible. Customer call John the plumber out today because she would like a hose bib replace. Customer had neighbors install a shark bite hose bib onto the side of the house unfortunately for the hose bib is leaking from the back and the shark bite is not fully attached. Upon inspection technician noticed the copper pipe close to the wall is is damaged. Hopefully technician can replace hose bib without opening up the concrete wall. Job details: Technician was able to successfully remove shark bite, hose bibs installed by customers neighbor. Technician then proceeded to install a new quarter turn hose bib. Water was restored to the home and there’s no leaks. *when technician attempted to attach the ground wire to the new hose bib, he realize that the ground wire could not connect fully because the screw that holds the round wire in place was cut off. He showed me the unit upstairs, I asked if he knew why I was there, he mentioned to check things. I explained the evaluation of the plumbing system and mentioned to flush the water heater as well. Upon arrival I was informed the customer had no hot water. I first tested the incoming power and it was only giving the heater 52 volts which isn’t enough to power it, it needs 240. I informed the customer that he’d need an electrician out for this problem.

Upon arrival to the location, I met with Travis who was outside the house working on his backyard. He showed me the hose bib we were replacing which was around the back of home. He was ok with water being turned off for work, as I shut it off from the meter. I chipped around existing hose bib to expose the piping, and to have room to remove and install new hose bib. Furthermore, I got old hose bib off and made the necessary repair. I then checked for leaks by turning the water back on before patching wall with cement. No leaks were detected, I then began to patch wall. I showed Travis and Krista, all is working accordingly at the moment. Upon arrival Customer show technician the bathroom where she would like the shower valve replaced and customer purchased a Moen shower valve and trim replacement kit already. Unfortunately, because technician does not have access behind the shower valve technician will have to cut the tile around the old valve in order to replace it. Meaning that the customers trim that was recently purchased would not work without re-doing the tile. Technician will give the customer a few options to resolve your issues. Customer got the shower Cartridge replaced a year ago.

Upon arrival to the location, we met with Kayla who showed us inside the home. She mentioned she just moved in literally a few hours ago.
