Job Locations and Reviews

Customer called regarding a leak under the kitchen sink. Upon arrival, I inspected the area and found the kitchen faucet was leaking from the supply line, which could not be repaired. I also observed that the emergency shut-off valves were old and deteriorating, posing a risk of failure and potential leaks. I provided an estimate to replace both the faucet and the shut-off valves, which was approved. I installed a new brushed nickel American Standard gooseneck kitchen faucet and two new 1/4-turn dual shut-off valves. All work has been completed and tested with no issues.

Upon arrival customer had 3 toilets that he wanted to preform minor rebuilds on. While inspecting toilets we did notice all 3 had multi turn shut off valves and recommended updating valves to a 1/4 turn shut off. Customer decided to just have minor rebuilds done. We did talk with customer about filtration options to preserve the life of all fixtures in home as well as water heater. Customer also had complaints of hot water taking too long to get to shower, which is furthest fixture from heater, we suggested a comfort system recirculating pump for water heater. Estimates provided. After installation of new parts in toilets, tested for proper functionality. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane

Upon arrival to the location, I met with Ewa who was downstairs on her way to throw the trash out and recognized me. Moreover, we went upstairs and she began by explaining she doesn’t live here full time, she just came back from New York and she realized her kitchen faucet has low water pressure. I asked if it was all over the home or just the kitchen she felt that. She said she doesn’t know and asked me to go around and check. Ewa has 3 bathrooms in the home, which all had normal pressure but one faucet which I explained, 9/10 times, it’s the aerator holding debris. I asked to then see the water heater and main valve and the water heater was replaced 3 years a go, and so was the main valve, but they replaced with another gate valve. Ewa mentioned she wasn’t here when they did the work, she wanted a 1/4 turn. I checked the valve to see if it was opened all the way and it was. Furthermore, i unscrewed the kitchen faucet aerator and the water pressure was a lot better than before. Ewa st

Upon arrival, customer informed me that he is a GC and his customer needed a kitchen faucet install. Customer is currently renovating the entire house and the builder was on site. The builder went and bought the same faucet at the customer currently had and had it available for install. Customer had all new piping angle stops recently installed by building. All fixtures in the bathrooms we just currently installed and the electrician was wiring some touch fixtures in the master bathroom as well. I advised customer that John the Plumber would be a great contact for him as we are readily available and all of our technicians are able to stay on the job until the job is done. He previously used our services with another plumber (Jason) and was satisfied so I advised that we would be more than happy to continue to be readily available for him and his building. Customer paid by check was very satisfied.

Customer contacted us due to no hot water in the home. Upon arrival, I was shown an existing Rheem 36-gallon lowboy electric water heater (3500 watts), manufactured in 2015. The unit was no longer producing hot water and had exceeded its typical life expectancy. After assessing the condition of the water heater, I recommended replacing the existing unit with a new, more efficient model. I provided an estimate for the full scope of work, including the necessary permit, which was approved by the customer. The old unit was removed and replaced with a new Rheem 38-gallon lowboy electric water heater (3500 watts). All plumbing and electrical connections were updated as needed to ensure proper and code-compliant installation. The installation has been completed and fully tested. There are no leaks or operational issues, and the system is functioning as intended. All work was performed to current code standards. The job site was cleaned and the customer was informed of basic operation.

Upon arrival I was shown to a broke hose bib connection. I informed the customer that I would have to reconfigure the line due to the current set up of it. The estimate was signed and after the work was done I turned the water back on and tested my connections for leaks and they are leak free and operating properly

Upon arrival the homeowner told me that the water heater failed the inspection because the relief line wasn’t connected. I removed the stove and saw that it was disconnected. After looking into the history it was connected at the time of installation. Somehow it came out. I cut some of the soft copper to have a fresh piece. I reconnected the relief back, and also used teflon tape. Everything else with the water heater appears to be up to code. Also the homeowner wants to see about removing the toilet in the powder room and install a washer and dryer. I let her know she needs to get with the association to see if she will be able to do that. I will speak with my manager also about adding the washer and dryer.

Upon arrival customer had a toilet that was constantly running due to flush valve seal failing. Fill valve was also faulty by working only if it was touched. We went ahead and preformed a minor rebuild, and changed emergency stop to toilet. A minor rebuild consists of changing the fill valve as well as flush valve seal. We also unjammed garbage disposal for customer finding a Sheetrock screw wedged in disposal. After unjamming garbage disposal, we turned on dish washer and tested for proper functionality. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane
Jason & Chris were both very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. Quotes & services were explained thoroughly.

Upon arrival the homeowner was wanting to see about going from a tanked to a tankless water heater. After looking at the breaker panel it’s only a 100 amps, and would probably not support the load of the proper size tankless heater for her needs. She has an electrician that she was going to reach out to as well to see if they would be able to get more power to the home. Also the homeowner wanted to replace the older kitchen faucet with a new customer supplied kitchen faucet. I provided an estimate for that along with the replacement of the old emergency stops. I also provided an estimate for a new tanked water heater as well.

Customer reported that the washer machine box hose bibs were not fully shutting off, and the main water shut-off was a gate valve. Removed the existing washer machine box and installed a new 1/4-turn washer machine box with integrated hammer arrestors for improved functionality and water hammer protection. Removed the existing 1” gate valve located on the right side of the home. Installed a new 1” full-port ball valve to serve as the main water shut-off, providing easier operation and enhanced reliability. All work was completed to code. System was pressurized and tested—no leaks found. All components are functioning properly.

Upon arrival I installed a Moen slim garbage disposal to replace the customer’s existing cracked garbage disposal. As per video taken, I performed a drop test and allowed the garbage disposal to run the entire time to make sure we have good flow and proper operation. Customer verified there is no leaks and everything is in good working condition

Upon arrival, customer had two things that she wanted me to look at the first thing was replacement of the existing slim garbage disposal in the kitchen. The second thing was replacement of the existing shower tower with customer supplied shower tower. At this time, she only signed the estimate for the garbage disposal and customer would like to schedule for tomorrow. Customer paid $300 deposit
Excellent work

2038569967 Richard Upon arrival to the property, there was an existing 1 inch main gate valve that was spraying water. The water had reached through the kitchen the floor into the unit below the unit owner from 202 came and told me that there was water in her apartment as well. I had the customer contact and entrusted for mitigation. The maintenance manager gave me the OK to shut down the entire building through the backflow located on the right hand side of the property. After draining the entire building, I proceeded to cut into the cabinet and the wall to replace the 1 inch gate valve with a 1 inch ball valve. System has been pressured up and tested with no leaks. Richard, the unit maintenance man verified. Everything is in proper working condition and asked me to shut the main valve off as picture taken. Customer stated that his credit card was on file to be charged

Upon arrival, I installed a half inch condensate line on the exterior heater and strapped to the wall as per pictures shown. Customer was not home to sign paperwork, so I’m emailing him a copy of the paperwork.

The customer contacted us requesting a whole-home sewer camera evaluation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the homeowner, who provided a walkthrough of the property. The home is currently undergoing major renovations and has been completely gutted, with no toilets currently installed. During the walkthrough, the homeowner explained that they wanted a camera inspection performed through each of the seven toilet flanges, as well as one exterior cleanout, in order to evaluate the condition of the existing sewer lines before reinstalling any fixtures. Based on the requested scope of work, we provided the homeowner with an estimate for the camera inspection services. After reviewing the estimate, the homeowner informed us that they would speak with their spouse and follow up with us once they are ready to move forward with the evaluation.

We met with Dave, one of the trustees of the church, who explained that the main sewer line from the clean-out to the city connection, roughly 215 feet away, needs to be replaced. We are quoting the repair by relocating the drain line to avoid excavation under the building and to bypass tree root zones, preventing the need to dig directly under or through major root systems. The work will be performed using a 15-ton excavator. This scope will require open excavation through soil areas and partial removal of asphalt in the driveway. Landscaping and sections of the driveway will be damaged during the process. Restoration of landscaping and asphalt will not be included in our work but we can recommend or subcontract a qualified professional for those repairs if desired. The replacement will be performed under permit, with all work in compliance with code. The existing sewer will be replaced with 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe, installed with proper slope and bedding material. The trench

Job summary Technician removed and disposed of old 30 gallon water heater that was located underneath the counters in the kitchen. Technician then proceeded to install a new 28 gallon ( formally 30 gallon )Rheem water heater (Low Skinny). Technician put in a galvanized drain pan and installed a new hot water ball valve for the water heater. Unfortunately, technician is unable to check to see if the water heaters providing hot water due to customers breaker panel giving issues. Customer has an electrician coming out Saturday, August 9 to perform the repair.

Upon arrival I was shown to the toilet feed line where the angle stop needed to be replaced. Part of The line it was connected to wasn’t in reusable condition and an estimate to redo the part of the line and install an emergency shutoff angle stop was agreed on and after work was done I turned the water back on and checked my connections for leaks and none were present

Customer called John the Plumber out today because she needs her water heater replaced because it’s currently not working. When technician arrived, he had to move the stove in order to gain access to the water heater. The water heater is from 2004 and does have a leak coming from the upper and lower element. Technician will provide the customer with the option for replacing the unit and bringing it up to code with permits involved. Customer accepted the estimate and installation will be done on Thursday 08.07.2025. Her offsite HOA/property management company is requesting ARC packet be submitted and approved before any work can be done.
Shane Evans was amazing. Punctual, respectful and did an outstanding job of changing my garbage disposal. He explained everything to me and let me know what else I needed to be done going forward. I highly recommend this company and a shout out for Shane.

Customer reported newly installed Rheem tankless electric water heater was not functioning. Upon inspection, found a loose wire connection within the unit. Secured the connection and restored proper wiring. System tested successfully and is now operating as intended. Warranty Service – No Charge.

Upon arrival to the location, I met with Jackie who showed me inside. She began by explaining she bought a tankless water heater and needs it installed because her current one is leaking. Jackie has had a few companies come out and she thinks the price was too much. I asked her if she pulled a permit when she initially installed and she stated she did. The circuit breaker was upgraded as well. Moreover, I told her I’ll give her the option for us to pull a permit for the new installation, and I also explained will need to do a hardwire connection with a switch in the closet. Jackie mentioned she just needs the cheapest option. Furthermore, I got her a couple options, she thought it was too much initially. She mentioned she had gotten a quote from another company for $650 and she thought they were crazy. I told her we can match but that’s what she’ll be looking at more or less with other companies. Hence, she agreed, and I got what was necessary and made the swap. I made sure to show her
