Upon arrival we had to remove and replace main water shut off to home, it is an old style gate valve and it had to be updated to a 1/4 turn ball valve. We will also rebuilt old style delta spring shower valve after water was shut off to home. We did notice secondary shut off to home that was an old style gat valve and left an estimate for repair customer was uninterested at this time. All work will be warranted for 1 year for parts and labor. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane

Upon arrival, we met with the homeowner, who had already removed the drawers beneath the cooktop to provide access. We proceeded to diagnose the cooktop and the gas supply leading to it. Our testing confirmed that the cooktop is receiving the correct gas pressure up to the regulator. Based on our findings, the issue appears to be with the cooktop itself or possibly the regulator that is part of the cooktop assembly. We advised the homeowner to contact a qualified appliance technician to further diagnose and address the issue with the cooktop and regulator.

This is a warranty call not a recall. As per previous video taken, this unit was tested on three separate occasions and was not leaking after initial installation. Upon arrival newly installed shower tower was leaking from the base upon further investigation. This was a factory part on the inside that started leaking after installation as per picture shown I notated which hose it was, and it was not a John the plumber supplied part it was a factory supplied hose. I disassembled the unit and reassembled the unit and customer tested as per video taken and at this time there is no leaks.

Customer will call when it is safe to open meter box. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane

For this job, Ewa has inlet water pressure to the apartment of 40 psi which is below average. She felt as if she had low pressure and based off the reading to her water heater, she is correct. Ewa mentioned there were a few remodels in the building prior, she doesn’t know if that could have to do with the loss of pressure. I told her if they added more fixtures which require water than it can. Before she spends money on a fix for the low water pressure, she wants to make sure it’s her unit and not a common building issue. There’s currently no visible way to test the building as the valves out in front don’t work per Ewa. The building should be tested for adequate pressure.

Upon arrival, I removed the existing shower tower for the upstairs bathroom and installed new customer supplied shower tower. As per videos and pictures taken everything is in proper working condition and level.

Upon arrival, we met with the homeowner’s daughter and informed her that we were there to initiate a gas leak inspection. We began by preparing the area for diagnostic work, which included removing the drawers beneath the cooktop, pulling out the washer and dryer units, and clearing access to the water heater. We proceeded to isolate the gas supply to the three affected appliances using their respective shut-off valves. During the leak detection process, we identified two issues: A gas leak at the flexible supply line connected to the cooktop. A hissing noise coming from inside the water heater, indicating a possible internal gas leak. We replaced the faulty flexible gas connector servicing the cooktop. After completing the repair, we restored gas service to the cooktop and dryer. However, the water heater remains isolated from the gas supply due to the suspected internal issue. We have provided a written estimate for water heater replacement. At this time, gas service has been restore

Customer reported a gas smell throughout the home. The customer contacted the fire department, who responded, ventilated the property, and locked the gas meter for safety. They advised the customer to schedule a gas leak detection service. We provided the customer with an estimate for gas leak detection, which was reviewed, signed, and approved for the following day. At this time, we were unable to perform the leak detection due to not having the proper equipment on hand. We are scheduled to return tomorrow to complete the gas leak detection.

Customer called regarding a toilet leaking around the base. Upon arrival, I was shown the guest bathroom toilet. An estimate was provided and approved to pull and reset the toilet, including the installation of a new wax ring. The scope of work was completed and the toilet was tested with no issues or leaks. The work area was cleaned and left in good condition.

On arrival the homeowner showed me the guest bathroom and powder room with new American standard toilets installed. The homeowner said the guest bathroom toilet was making a loud noise and I was not able to recreate it. The powder bathroom toilet has an old emergency shutoff and has water bypassing one of the flappers which is causing it to fill when the water in the tank gets low enough to trigger the fill valve. I wrote an estimate to change the emergency shutoff and minor rebuild for the powder room toilet as well as the emergency shutoffs for the sink. I presented the estimate to the homeowner and he wants to get in touch with where he bought the toilets so he can get a new flapper set. He said he will call back when he has figured everything out with the company he bought the toilets from so we can go with the provided estimate.

Upon arrival I met with the homeowner that has drywall and cabinet water damage in the kitchen underneath the kitchen sink. Also the drywall behind the cabinet had water damage. The restoration company already removed the drywall prior to my inspection. I performed a few different tests for inspection to see if I could recreate the leak. This included a pressure drop test where I put my pressure gauge on the main to see if it dropped any water pressure, which it didn’t. I also filled up the sink , there leaks after doing that. I also ran water on the backsplash that homeowner had just recaulked do to discoloration and the seal was cracked. No water leaked into the cabinet then. The only time I saw water leaking into the cabinet is when I ran water In between the countertop and the sink which is separating a little bit from the countertop. After my diagnosis I feel that the water was getting into the cabinet from the backsplash and the seal from the sink to the countertop. Also there wa

Installed new 1/4 turn inline stop behind refrigerator. Tested my work found to be working properly. No charge

Upon arrival, I installed two new dual emergency stops along with rerouting a new PEX line for refrigerator. Everything has been properly tested, and with no leaks. Customer signed a zero dollar invoice to remove the under cabinet, filtration system, along with disconnecting the one cup faucet due to leaking at the base. During my free home evaluation, I come across the water heater is not producing hot water. Several pictures throughout the unit states that the hottest the temperature is getting is 87.7. I submit to the homeowner and they stated they would have to wait till next month. I informed the tenant of what the homeowner said. Payment has been made in full

Arrived to location to give estimate for ice maker line, we will run pex from emergency stops under cabinet to new fridge and replace old copper line. Also install two new dual stops, current emergency stops are seized and are In rough conditions.

Upon arrival, this is a continuation job from Friday. I removed the upstairs toilet along with replacing the emergency stop and fixed a slow dripping copper line located behind the toilet as per pictures taken. I installed a new wax ring and reset the toilet. During my free home evaluation I came across four separate emergency stops that were either currently leaking, previously leaking or on the verge of leaking and I gave a customer 20% discount to replace four angle stops with supply lines as per picture taken. Customer verified everything is in proper working condition with no leaks.

Customer reported no hot water. Upon inspection, found Eltron 20 tankless water heater located under the AC unit in the hall closet had sustained water damage due to leakage from the AC unit above. Findings: The Eltron 20 unit showed visible signs of water exposure and internal damage. Electrical components were burnt out due to moisture intrusion. Unit was deemed non-repairable. Work Performed: Removed damaged Eltron 20 tankless water heater. Installed new Rheem RTEX-20 tankless electric water heater. Verified electrical connections and plumbing for proper installation. Turned on system and performed full operational test. Unit tested and operated properly with no leaks or errors. Recommendation: Recommend inspecting and addressing any drainage or condensation issues with the AC unit above the water heater to prevent future damage. Consider installing a drip pan or water sensor for early leak detection.

Upon arrival, performed a leak search come to the conclusion that there’s jeopardize waxing and a total emergency stop that is leaking. During my investigation I saw 2 copper pipes that need attention. Customer signed 2 estimates for work to be completed Monday and paid deposit.

Upon arrival the homeowner showed me the master bathroom lavatory sink that was not draining properly. I used the drill snake to clear the waste arm. I didn’t pull anything out. After I was done I put everything back together then ran the water. I also filled up the sink a couple of times and let it drain. Everything is draining good now with no leaks.

Customer requested information regarding the installation of a smart shutoff valve for the natural gas system at their home. Inspected the gas meter and appliances connected to the system. Conducted research on available smart gas shutoff valve options and discussed findings with the customer. After reviewing the options, the customer decided to conduct additional research on their own. They will follow up if they choose a preferred smart valve and wish to proceed with installation. Other recommendations provided estimate on installation of a flush valve kit and maintenance flush on existing gas tankless water heater.

Upon arrival I provided and installed two new toilets along with two new supply lines. as per pictures taken, everything is in proper working condition and customer is satisfied.

Upon entry into the home, I wrote an estimate to provide and replace existing garbage disposal, which customer agreed to. Upon customer request, I supplied an additional estimate for to provided toilets which customer agreed to. This job needs to be scheduled for tomorrow if possible also during my inspection, I noticed that several of the emergency stop valves were either seized up or heavily corroded, and I wrote a separate estimate to change those out at this time. Customer did not agree to this estimate.

John, the plumber was called to the customers home today because they got a penny stock in the garbage disposal. When technician arrived, he spoke with the tenant and because it was the tenants fault that the penny fell in the disposal, it was the tenants responsibility to fix the issue Technician will attempt to remove penny from garbage disposal, and unjam the unit if technician is on successful customer will have to replace the unit. The penny was removed, and the garbage disposal is now operational.

Customer called regarding a leak under the kitchen sink. Upon arrival, I inspected the area and found the kitchen faucet was leaking from the supply line, which could not be repaired. I also observed that the emergency shut-off valves were old and deteriorating, posing a risk of failure and potential leaks. I provided an estimate to replace both the faucet and the shut-off valves, which was approved. I installed a new brushed nickel American Standard gooseneck kitchen faucet and two new 1/4-turn dual shut-off valves. All work has been completed and tested with no issues.

Upon arrival customer had 3 toilets that he wanted to preform minor rebuilds on. While inspecting toilets we did notice all 3 had multi turn shut off valves and recommended updating valves to a 1/4 turn shut off. Customer decided to just have minor rebuilds done. We did talk with customer about filtration options to preserve the life of all fixtures in home as well as water heater. Customer also had complaints of hot water taking too long to get to shower, which is furthest fixture from heater, we suggested a comfort system recirculating pump for water heater. Estimates provided. After installation of new parts in toilets, tested for proper functionality. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane

Upon arrival to the location, I met with Ewa who was downstairs on her way to throw the trash out and recognized me. Moreover, we went upstairs and she began by explaining she doesn’t live here full time, she just came back from New York and she realized her kitchen faucet has low water pressure. I asked if it was all over the home or just the kitchen she felt that. She said she doesn’t know and asked me to go around and check. Ewa has 3 bathrooms in the home, which all had normal pressure but one faucet which I explained, 9/10 times, it’s the aerator holding debris. I asked to then see the water heater and main valve and the water heater was replaced 3 years a go, and so was the main valve, but they replaced with another gate valve. Ewa mentioned she wasn’t here when they did the work, she wanted a 1/4 turn. I checked the valve to see if it was opened all the way and it was. Furthermore, i unscrewed the kitchen faucet aerator and the water pressure was a lot better than before. Ewa st
