Upon arrival customer advised me that the cold feed before the heater valve we replaced yesterday was leaking. This is part of the original piping . I advised customer I would need to cut out the defective fitting and replace with and adapter. Then reconnect the flex line. Tested for leaks. No leaks.

This is a warranty call upon arrival. Customer stated that her heater was leaking still from the hot line. She also said her t/p relief was also still filling the pan. After diagnosis, I advised customer that I would need to unsweat and repipe the hot line bc the fitting was compromised. Original fitting was installed by me. I also advised customer that I would need to drain down the line to do so. As I was draining the heater, I noticed this time that the main heater shutoff valve was compromised. Valve was not closing all the way so it forced me to shutoff the main to do the work. I advised customer that we recommend that she change that valve. It is meant for her to be able to isolate the heater in the event she needs to work on it or replace it like we were doing today. Customer agreed to replace the valve. Customer informed me upon arrival that her hot water heater was leaking from the hot side. I previously installed the heater on 1/14/25. After diagnosis, I drained the heater Darwin and reseat the 90. Tested for leaks and there were no leaks. Also the customer said her t/p relief valve was dumping randomly, I explained to her that the relief is going to release when the pressure builds to high in the tank. This is because the heater was turned up to 130. I turned both elements down to 120.

Upon arrival to the location, we met with homeowners Mr and Mrs Blackwood who showed us inside. They took us to the back bathroom where they have a tub which was installed about 5 years ago per Mr Blackwood and it’s already cracked. They believe the tub wasn’t installed properly, they said the crack has been visible for about a year but they bandaid over it with tape and caulking. They would like to keep their existing glass sliding door set up. I asked if converting from a tub to shower was an option, they said possibly but what they prefer is switching out the tub for another exactly the same or similar. Furthermore, we asked to see the main valve and water heater, the main valve is worn out and current water heater is over 10 years. Told them we will also send those solutions for those things, as it is a concern. Hence, i told them I’ll get some options and get back to them tomorrow morning because we would have to confirm availability of the tub and exact pricing.

For todays visit we had to remove and replace customers water heater with an updated unit. We replaced an old 30 gallon water heater with a new Rheem 38 gallon water heater. The water heater was placed in a pan and had a t/p relief line corrected. The water heater comes with a 6 year parts and labor warranty. John the Plumber recently replaced her main valve, water heater valve, and some toilet accessories. Upon inspection, I notified customer that everything was water tight. I did recommend that she change the angle stops under the the kitchen sink. Customer agreed and I completed the change. Further inspection, water heater is severely corroded and not operating as it should and customer wanted an estimate for a larger newer unit. New water heater we noticed washer hose bibs were corroded as well. Main water shut off was leaking due to improper installation as well. Arrived to customer, found that clean out to the right of the front door of building was overflowing with cap off when I arrived. At this time we presented estimates to customer for running K 60 snake machine, Customer approved. Customer made us aware that someone in building was using flushable wipes, a.k.a. non-flushable wipes. After running about 50 feet of cable through ground clean out towards road we cleared clog. We flushed toilets inside to verify that we cleared drain and you are good to go! We sent payment link to customer.
