If your toilet suddenly starts gurgling, there is probably a blockage in the plumbing system to blame. When air becomes trapped in the plumbing system and is forced out through the toilet bowl, gurgling happens. This may occur if the main sewer line is backed up or if there is a blockage in the plumbing vent. Sinks that take a long time to drain, bad odors, and water backing up in the drains are additional indicators of a clogged plumbing system. It is advised to contact a qualified plumber to inspect and diagnose the issue in order to fix it. To locate and remove the obstruction and restore proper plumbing operation, the plumber can use tools like a camera or plumbing snake.

Upon arrival, I submitted an estimate for a whole home sanitary re-pipe and customer agreed to estimate and applied for financing. Upon arrival, customer had a whole house stoppage, mainly controlled to the right hand side of the property and two bathrooms. After pulling the toilet and sneaking the lines to clear the stoppage, I proceeded to camera the existing system. While camera ring the system, customer has a collapsed cast-iron pipe on the west side of the property going towards the master bathroom area, along with having a huge chunk of the broken cast-iron still wedged in the existing PVC addition that was added onto the house. At this time, customer would was advised to not use the side of the house for an extended period of time due to the stoppage will continue. Upon customer request, I replaced one emergency stop valve in the right hand side bathroom. Also, upon customer request, I provided a leak detection service due to a severe leak and the main waterline along with the house is holding pressure. The only significant drop and pressure is whenever you turn on the pump to the waterfall and there is a l

Upon today visit we are installing two 4” spread lavatory faucets with tubular p trap drain assemblies. After installing new parts and pieces we tested each sink multiple times for proper functionality. Everything is operational as it should. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane
Cleared main line stoppage from the roof vent above the guest bathroom. Used five cables to fully clear the blockage. During the process, I pulled out light roots from the line, indicating root intrusion. Customer mentioned they had been flushing “flushable” wipes. I explained that no wipes are truly safe to flush—especially with cast iron piping—and advised against continuing this practice to prevent future blockages. Recommendations: Strongly recommend a camera inspection of the main line to assess the extent of root intrusion and overall condition of the pipe. Testing: Ran both showers and flushed all toilets multiple times to ensure proper flow. All fixtures are now draining correctly, and the main line is clear at this time.
They even cleaned up afterwards.

Received a call from the property manager regarding an active water leak at the property. Upon arrival, I met with the property manager on site, who directed me to the main emergency water shut-off valve. The leak was identified at the transition adapter connected to the valve. I assessed the issue and provided an estimate to replace the faulty adapter and install a new ball valve. The estimate was approved on site. The repair was completed as outlined. A new ball valve was installed, and the system was tested thoroughly. No leaks or issues were found following the repair, and the system is now functioning properly.

Client called John the Plumber out for an object stuck inside the toilet of the kids bathroom. To fix this issue I told the client that we would have to remove the toilet and remove the object from the bottom of the toilet with a toilet auger. After removing the toilet, we found a toy wrapped in cloth at the bottom of the toilet. Removed the object and reset the toilet. After resetting the toilet tested the toilet by flushing toilet paper. Toilet is working properly. Client had a toilet in the master bathroom that they wanted to be reset to clean stains in the caulking. Removed the toilet and cleaned the old caulking and reset the toilet with new caulking.
Upon arrival the homeowner showed me to the secondary bathroom that was backed up I ran the tub and it started to fill up after a couple of minutes. I then went on the roof and ran 60 feet of cable with the sewer machine to clear the stoppage. I didn’t pull anything out on the cable. After running the sewer machine the tub cleared. I ran all of the fixtures in the bathroom, and flushed the toilet several times. I even had the homeowner flush the toilet to make sure that she was getting the same flush that she had before the stoppage. Everything is flushing and draining good now.

Further inspection both toilets needed a minor rebuild and since we are doing quite a bit of work we were able to do two minor rebuilds as a courtesy for customer. Upon arrival Will showed me the old water heater and wanted an estimate to replace it. I went over options with him for replacing the water heater and bring it up to code. He agreed with the estimate for replacing the water heater. After the estimate was signed I proceeded to check the power, and found that there was no power to the heater. We replaced the breaker, and that didn’t resolve the issue. I then installed the new water heater along with a booster pump. After the installation I turned the water back on to test for leaks. There are no present leaks. I also raised the temperature to 125 degrees. The electrician came out to troubleshoot the line. I showed them a switch that was hidden on the wall underneath the shelving which I turned on. I then retested the power going to the junction box where I installed a new switch. It was still not reading the right voltage. After the electrician did his diagnosis he found that there was the right voltage going to the old switch. They are
We met with the owner of the business, who explained that the hair trap is currently locked tight and will not come loose. We confirmed that we can remove it, but explained that unscrewing the trap carries the risk of the hair trap breaking. The trap is a Zern model, which typically costs between $500–$600 to replace. During our inspection, we also noted that the PVC piping on both sides of the trap appears corroded and shows signs of leakage. The owner stated she will order a new basket strainer. Once the replacement basket strainer arrives, we will return to perform the following work: • Install the new basket strainer. • Remove the cover, spray-paint it, and reinstall. • Reconnect all drainage. • Loosen and lubricate the nut on the Zern trap so that it can be serviced in the future. We also provided the owner with a small amount of Clobber drain cleaner and explained that it is extremely dangerous. We advised her that we are not liable for any injury or damage that may resul

We arrived today to provide estimate for tanked to tankless water heater conversion. The tankless natural gas water heater must be installed a minimum of 4 feet away from any operable window, door, or any source of ignition, in compliance with local code and manufacturer specifications. Proper exterior wall space must be confirmed to accommodate unit clearances, venting, and mounting hardware. Gas Line Installation: A new natural gas line will be routed from the existing gas meter to the tankless water heater's location. Gas sizing calculations will be performed to ensure adequate supply based on the unit's BTU rating and other gas appliances in the home. Electrical Requirements: The tankless water heater will require a dedicated 120V GFCI-protected electrical outlet at the unit’s location for operation. Electrical work will be coordinated to ensure code compliance and proper grounding. Water Line Modifications: Existing hot and cold water lines from the current electric tank system
