Job Locations and Reviews

Upon arrival to the location, I met with Anna who was home at the moment and she showed me inside. She began by explaining she believes the entire home is backed up because none of the toilets flush. She stated it’s been going on for about two weeks and has called some people to fix it and no one knows what they’re doing. As I was going over the solutions, Andres, which is hectors son showed up. I explained to him what are the solutions to clear the stoppage, which was attempting through the shower or pulling the toilet. There is no visible clean out any where out front nor out back. I advised him if we can’t through the shower than the toilet is the only option. He approved the estimate, and I got what was needed to began snaking down the shower drain. Moreover, I was able to get all my cables down the shower drain which was about 75 ft, and with the cables still inside the line, the clog was partially cleared, but I could still see the water not draining properly. I pulled the cables

Upon arrival we removed and replaced toilet supply line and emergency stop. Customer had old style gate valve for main water shut off and we informed customer that we do not touch these because they will possibly fail. Customer did open main water shut off and it unfortunately failed. Provided estimate for repair customer declined at this time. City of pompano is on their way to replace water meter due to valve failing after they shut it. Water is leaking on city side. Thank you for calling John The Plumber -Shane customer gave authorization to sign for him and collect payment

Plumbing Report We met with the homeowner today, who showed us the leak location identified by American Leak detection. After reviewing the site, we explained that utilities needed to be located before any excavation or repair. We contacted 8-1-1, and FPL arrived to mark the area. Two major power lines were found running through the same path as the water line. FPL advised extreme caution due to the proximity of these lines. We informed the homeowner that, because of the high-risk utility interference, proceeding with a direct repair could be unsafe and may not be the most cost-effective option long-term. The homeowner will send photos once all other utilities have been marked so we can evaluate the remaining utilities . We are reviewing options, including rerouting a new service line or performing a hydrovac excavation to repair the existing line. However, we advised that repairing the old line carries a risk of future leaks, which could lead to repeated expenses. For that reason,

Upon arrival, removed the existing tankless unit located in the hall closet. Installed a new Rheem 30-gallon tall electric water heater (3500W) equipped with a ½" temperature and pressure relief valve, emergency shutoff valve, and drain pan. Work was completed under permit. Tested the installation and verified the unit is operating correctly. Customer has been informed that their electrician needs to return to raise the electrical switch so it is clearly visible and accessible.

Upon arrival, I installed an Atlas whole home, filtration system on the exterior wall and tied in the two 1 inch main lines together before it entered into the filtration system. I also flushed and descaled the existing JTP tankless for an eye along with resetting the error codes. Everything has been pressured back up and it tested for leaks and proper operation.

Customer had leak coming up from tile in laundry and over in front of the kitchen sink. We wrote an estimate to do a leak detection to figure out where the water was coming from. I sent the estimate to be signed via email and phone. The homeowner approved and signed the estimate. We began our leak detection and started with a pressure test to eliminate a running water leak. We noticed the ac unit drain line going through the wall was in the most wet spot and went outside to see that it was constantly draining and going under the pipe back into the wall. We glued a 90 and stub down to stop it from draining backwards into the wall. We sealed the line coming out of the wall on the outside and cleaned up our work area. At this time the water is restored to the home and the ac drain line is no longer draining backward onto the wall or in the house. John The Plumber is not responsible for drywall repair.

Upon arrival, customer had a recently remodeled kitchen. Installed customer-supplied kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. Supplied and installed a 1/4-turn dual stop for hot water and a single stop for cold water. Installed kitchen drain. All work was tested upon completion and found to be functioning properly.

Customer is purchasing the home and needs a Camera inspection to know the conditions of the drain lines. Job summary While performing the camera evaluation for the drain lines in the entire home, technician noticed a few areas of concern. There is at least two bellies and a lot of buildup and corrosion on the cast-iron sections of the home. Customer would like our drain specialist to come back out to give an estimate on running new drain lines in the home.
Excellent technician well mannered and knowledgeable

Customer called John the plumber out today because he would like an estimate on replacing a shower valve and also running a nice line to his bar sink. Technician wrote up a few estimates for the customer. Customer is going to continue to shop around because he was not expecting the price to be so high.

Job summary Technician adjusted the temperature on customers newly installed gas water heater.

Upon arrival to the location, I met with tenant Eric who showed me inside the home. He mentioned the guest bathroom backed up yesterday from the tub after flushing toilet. I asked if it was still clogged today, he didn’t know so I ran the tub and for two minutes the water drained fine. I also flushed the toilet a few times, it flushed well, no bubbles and I ran the Lav, which was also draining properly. I told Eric I would recommend a camera evaluation to the owner because as of now there isn’t a blockage. I called Victoria the home owner and told her what was going on. She mentioned she actually had gotten her pipes lined 2 years ago, we shouldn’t even have to look at the pipes. I told her I didn’t know that but obviously this is the second time in the year something may be happening. She stated if it happens again she’ll call the guy who did it because he warrantied the work for 15 years.
Execllent service

Customer called regarding a faucet replacement. Upon arrival, I was shown the master bathroom lavatory faucet, which was continuously running despite the handles being turned off. The homeowner also noted that the emergency shut-off valves were seized and not functioning. I provided an estimate to replace both the faucet and the emergency shut-off valves. After further discussion, the homeowner informed me that the bathroom is scheduled for a remodel and the shut-off valves will be replaced during that process. Based on this, I revised the estimate to include only the pickup, supply, and installation of a new American Standard lavatory faucet, which was approved. The homeowner was advised that the home's main water supply, controlled by a ball valve, would be shut off to complete the work. The faucet replacement was completed and thoroughly tested. No leaks or issues were found upon completion. Scope of work is now complete.

Upon arrival I was shown to a kitchen sink stoppage and bathroom sink stoppage. After confirming that it wasn’t a main line stoppage and that the disposal was seized and the motor went bad, an estimate to replace the garbage disposal and clear the bathroom sink with my drill snake was signed and once the work was complete I ensured the drain lines were clear and draining freely by filling and draining them.

John, the plumber was called out to the customers home today to perform a routine maintenance on tankless water heater. Tankless water heaters are supposed to be flushed. Once a year this unit was flushed and descaled in April of this year. So another flush was not needed. Customer is satisfied with the way the unit is operating. Technician did give customer options for a whole house filtration system.

On arrival did courtesy inspection of the heater installed yesterday and heater passed inspection. As per picture taken, everything is in proper working condition and with no leaks customer verified.

Client called complaining of a high water bill that the city came out and told the client that the leak is outside. Upon arrival checked the water meter with the main shut off valve turned off to confirm the outside leak which we confirmed. Client has pvc piping with a big oak tree next to the water meter with utilities in front of the water meter box. Advised the client to perform the leak search will require a survey to locate any utilities that are under ground. Also recommend to the client to reroute the main water service in upenor piping to limit the chance of a future leak. Client will call after areas are marked out with underground utilities.
Work was done well. However we are not happy with the total bill. Mark charged us for a service call even though he was coming here anyway to check on previous work we had done. We feel we deserve at least a 20% discount. The charge was mostly for the Labor which took about two hours. Two inexpensive parts were replaced. $773 is much too high. We feel we were overcharged and taken advantage of. We would like to maintain further relationship with John The Plumber but only if we feel like we are being treated honestly.
Carl was very nice and very professional

Customer reported that the breaker was tripping on their Rheem RTEX-13 tankless water heater. After inspecting both the breaker and the unit, I determined that the unit needs to be replaced due to failed heating elements. The customer mentioned that the unit was installed by JTP; however, I was unable to locate any service history to confirm this. I also attempted to contact the office to verify whether we performed the installation, but was unable to reach anyone at this time. I provided the customer with an estimate for a replacement unit. The customer will follow up after we confirm whether the unit was originally installed by us..# jtp

Upon arrival I was informed of a main line stoppage in the guest bathroom and a slow draining tub in the master bathroom. I ran the fixtures in the guest bathroom consecutively for about 25-30 minutes along with flushing the toilet every time it filled up. I couldn’t not recreate the stoppage along with opening the house cleanout to where I saw that the water was flowing freely. As for the master tub the customer elected to try the bio one to see if it will alleviate the slow drain. I explained it to them and the tenant what it is and how to use it. My recommendation is to camera eval the drain lines under the home. And replacing the main gate and heater valves due to the style and condition and Risk of having Valves that doesn’t shut down all the way

Upon arrival to the location, I found the front entrance and went inside. I was met by an employee who was there to show me the bathroom. Wesley was not present, I asked him if he knew when they wanted to get it done, he mentioned that Wesley is just looking for estimates at the moment. When I got to the toilet, I heard it leaking through what seemed like the flapper. I opened the lid and it was a canister flush valve and you could clearly see the seal worn out. I told the employee he doesn’t need to buy a new toilet if he doesn’t want to, but I’ll send over options regarding to what can be done.

Piped in control valve and set box for fire pit. After the the tile base is set I’ll set the fire ring.

John, the plumber was called out to the customers home today because he had a scheduled maintenance. When technician arrived customer informed technician that his toilet is leaking. Job summary Technician performed a pool and reset of customers master bathroom, toilet along with replacing the toilet angle stop, supply line and installing a flange metal plate onto the broken flange. Water was restored at home. The toilet is not operational with no issues.

Newly installed water heater was piped 3/4. Replaced due to 1/2 nipple that wasn’t seen. Installed 1/2 t and p valve to correct mistake. Tested works well. No charge warranty l

Customer Concern: Customer contacted us regarding a plumbing issue in the hall bathroom, reporting that the toilet was leaking at the base and the bathtub was experiencing a backup. Initial Assessment: Upon arrival, I was shown the hall bathroom. The homeowners explained that water was leaking from the base of the toilet and that the bathtub was backing up, indicating a potential main line blockage. I was then shown the basement crawl space, where the sewer and plumbing lines were accessible for further inspection and potential snaking. Estimate & Approval: I provided an estimate to: Pull and reset the toilet to gain access to the main drain line. Use a K60 sewer snaking machine to clear any blockage. Replace the wax ring upon reinstalling the toilet to restore a proper seal. The estimate was approved by the homeowner, and work commenced immediately. Work Performed: After removing the toilet, I found that the wax ring had failed, creating a gap around the flange. Combined with the back

Customer called regarding a backup in the kitchen sink occurring after the washing machine drained. Upon arrival, I spoke with the customer and provided an estimate to attempt to clear the stoppage using a K-50 sewer snaking machine, which the customer approved. While snaking the kitchen waste arm, I encountered some resistance but was able to push through the blockage. After clearing the line, I ran a large volume of water through the kitchen sink and completed a full washing machine cycle. Both tests showed no signs of backup, and I observed proper water flow from the front cleanout.

Customer called regarding a newly installed dishwasher that was not draining. Upon arrival, I spoke with the customer and, after discussing the issue further, provided an estimate for diagnostic testing, which was approved. During the diagnostic, I found that the knockout plug in the garbage disposal (where the dishwasher discharge line connects) had not been removed, preventing the dishwasher from draining properly. I removed the knockout plug, corrected the issue, and tested the dishwasher. The unit is now draining properly with no further issues.
They were able to squeeze me onto the schedule with very little notice. I was most appreciative of this. James came out and quickly diagnosed and fixed my issue. He also gave me some tips to better care for my water heater, as always very happy with the service at John the Plumber.
Responded fast and communicated well with me to get the job done while I was not at the property.
Scott was very good
Pablo was very nice and took care of the problem quickly. He was a delight to have in our home and we had a wonderful conversation. I would highly recommend Pablo.
Very professional from start to finish Permitting was handled as it should. Clean installation and cleaning up after themselves. Lin is awesome! Will call your company again when needed!
The work was 100% on point! They come when they say they are going to come. None of this contractor BS like I will be there sometime later this week. They scheduled an appointment and kept it with me.
Gary was great! I felt like he was thorough, yet not over zealous. He considered his method in locating my leak and worked diligently to locate the issue with as minimal disruption to the structure of my home as possible. He and his assistant Nate quickly located the source of my leak and got it fixed while leaving behind a very minimal patch project that I can handle myself. He was very communicative and kept me informed every step of the way. It was obvious that he is experienced and knows what he is doing. I will definitely request him for any further plumbing needs. I also want to note that I called for emergency services at 5:30am as I had to shut my water off. The call was immediately answered and I had an afternoon appointment for the same day (on a Saturday) within minutes.
Greg was so friendly and was not leaving without having a solution. Very happy with the work!
Great service
Greg was so awesome. Only guy I want working on my house.
2 techs came when promised, repaired all needed. The toilet is now working fine. Thanks
Great job
The installation of our new water heater could not have gone any better. It was done quickly and you folks handled all the details. My only disappointment was the fact that the techs put a huge scratch on the hallway door. All of these were recently painted so it really looks awful.
Excellent service! They were able to get someone out the next day without any issue! Marc, our technician, was fast and professional, and took care of the issue.

I really can’t say I was not there I just paid the bill I do need the bill emailed to me Still waiting for it
I asked for a quote to put in a new bathroom faucet and replace a couple of outside faucets. Simple jobs. Shane provided estimates but repeatedly tried to upsell a new water heater, emergency stops for the water intake, the main emergency valve (which he said he could not touch unless it was replaced), and supply lines. Everything was working fine but the attempts to upsell continued even when I asked him to stop. A $400 job became a $2,000 one. John the Plumber does good work and stands behind their work but their prices are high and the pressure to replace components which are working fine is concerning.
Gary Brown did an amazing job getting my gutted kitchen ready for new cabinets. He had to totally upgrade an old, 6-7 foot floppy copper water line and secure the new one in the plaster wall and he did a stellar, perfect job of it! Also very professionally capped off water pipes to sink. Thoroughly cleaned up afterwards, and did a great job keeping the dust to a minimum. I highly recommend him for any plumbing job you have!
They came they saw and they fixed right away
He was on time, polite, great worker. Good for your company!
Glad you noticed, polite and punctual is kind of our love language. Thanks for trusting John The Plumber; we’ll keep raising the bar (and lowering the leaks).
Kim came on an emergency basis was able to quickly analyze our problem and execute the fix/repair!
Emergency call? Kim shows up faster than your pizza delivery guy. Glad she got you fixed up in no time!
