Site Visit Summary – Driveway Leak Inspection Upon arrival, the customer reported water surfacing through the pavers in the driveway. The customer stated that the city had previously inspected the issue and determined that the leak is originating from the property's water service line. The customer had already removed a portion of the pavers to expose the ground in the suspected area. In order to accurately locate the source of the leak, professional leak detection services will be required. This will involve removing additional pavers to conduct a thorough inspection. Once the leak is located, a detailed estimate for the repair will be provided. Please note: $300.00 from the leak detection service will be credited toward the cost of the repair, should the customer choose to proceed with the work. Service Summary: We met with the homeowner regarding concerns about two leaking hose bibs located in the laundry room. Upon inspection, we confirmed that both hose bibs were exhibiting signs of leakage at the packing nut, which, over time, could lead to water damage in the surrounding area. Customer Consultation: We explained to the homeowner that proper repair of the hose bibs would involve removing the existing valves by unsoldering them from the copper lines and then installing new hose bibs through a precise soldering process. This is necessary to ensure a secure, long-term fix and to comply with code standards. After presenting the price for this service, the homeowner expressed that the quoted cost seemed high. Temporary Preventative Action (Courtesy Service): As a courtesy, we tightened the packing nuts on both hose bibs.
